Red Sea Salt Mix for Aquariums 15 Lb

I found my KH had climbed over 12 and the pro version of this salt is deliberately a higher KH salt. I bought this to start gradually pulling my KH down through waterchanges instead of trying to dose this, that, and the other. This worked great to help me balance my KH back at 10.5 alongside something I dose that increases it. I'll periodically mix this with the higher KH salt to strike the right balance but this will make up most of my salt. No complaints.

I like this salt a lot. It dissolves fast and come in an actual reusable tub. Using a half cup of salt per gallon, I'm getting just about the exact water parameters I'm looking for. The magnesium and calcium content per batch is pretty close if not higher than what was advertised. This works much better for my needs than Instant Ocean.

Works nice to establish an aquarium

So far, this salt is amazing! I've used Istant Oceans salt before and it always took forever for the salt to dissolve and clear up the water. This salt takes about 15-30 for it to dissolve, and the water parameters using this salt is pretty good. So, I'm very pleased with this product and will be purchasing again.

I’ve ordered this twice and both times it arrived and the bucket was cracked and spilling some salt. The salt was still fine though, no clumps and mixed well

The media could not be loaded. Product came like this out of the box. The egde won't allow the lid to shut. Part of the salt is hard. I specifically buy this brand, because it's better then the rest. Now I'll have to try to break the salt. Which I really don't have time for. I'm not happy about this.

Red Sea saltwater mix is the best product on the market. I highly recommend this product anyone.
