Please can you confirm whether this is a fit test or a fob test? it is confusing as customers are saying different things.

This is a Faecal Immunochemical Test (FIT) test kit. This is NOT a FOB type test.

This is a Faecal Immunochemical Test (FIT) test kit. FIT is specific to human haemoglobin. A FIT test result is not influenced by the presence of other blood in stools, such as that ingested through diet. The FOB test is not specific to human blood, it detects the haem element of haemoglobin, which is common to all blood sources.

Can I take the sample directly from the toilet bowl

No. You need to use the plastic included. It sits o er the toilet bowl. The sample will be contaminated of you take it directly from the toilet once the stool is already in the water.

Can this also test for upper gi bleeding as well as from any possible polyps?

It checks for blood in the stool I believe. So will depend on that
