500cm Curtain Track

After 20 years the plastic curtain rail in my living room became brittle and disintegrated. I needed something quickly and cheap to replace it and this curtain rail kit has been perfect. I unscrewed the original brackets and the new ones simply screwed back in at the same positions. The new curtain rail is bendy but I didn't bother heating it and slotted it straight into the brackets which hold the rail via plastic locking mechanisms. The curtain hooks glide across the rail effortlessly, and the whole process was quick to fit. If I was being hyper critical I could say that there could be one or two more brackets in the pack, but I'm sure this rail will last a long time!

This is a simple straightforward piece of kit that is easy to install but could be a lot, lot easier if only the manufacturer had given a little thought to the packaging. To make transportation easier and cheaper. the lightweight curtain rail, is coiled around itself with the front facing outward which means not only does the rail have to be straightened, it then has to be bent back in the opposite direction for bay windows. The simple solution would be to coil the rail with the back facing outward. Having said that, it looks great when installed and in my view represents good value for money.

Perfect, soaked it in hot water to help straighten out the coil and it was so easy to fit onto the brackets. Curtain hooks glide effortlessly along the track. Very easy to fit. Mark where you want to put your brackets, drill a holes out 0.5mm smaller than the screw then screw brackets to wall, there is a wee bit of adjustment in the bracket so you can get them level. Cut the track to desired length, Make sure the track is the right way up and position it on the bracket turn the locking mechanism 90 degrees to lock rail in place. The rail comes with end locking brackets to stop the curtains coming off. Easy job, 10 minutes should be enough time to complete job.

I'm delighted with the results. It's quite a simple product. I needed to replace my previous curtain rail that broke and I wish I'd replaced it sooner because this one is so much smoother to move the curtains! It wasn't very difficult to install and it was OK to straighten, although if you're really keen on a straight rail it is not 100% but to me it did the job. The instructions are OK although I wish the numbers of steps would be changed because I only realised that the stoppers should have been put on first after I've already put up the rail. Also I found that the screws on the stoppers were too stiff and I ended up poking myself in the thumb so eventually I glued them on. I'd still recommend it as I'm really happy with how easy it is to move the curtains. Will replace my other curtain rail too.

Cheap so ok for price. Customisable, so good. Light, but unsure if strong enough for W400cm x H260cm blackout curtains. Smooth pulling. Hook brackets would easily pop out when hooking curtains, but at least there were enough hook brackets. Product included enough ends to create an overlap in the middle for blackout. It was difficult to ‘unbend’ the rail so similar to photos, it was wobbly looking however, with the curtains drawn you cant really tell.

I needed to replace my curtain rails as the ones in the flat were ancient and obsolete; it's impossible to get curtain gliders for the size I had, I tried everywhere. I wasn't looking forward to this job but I'm delighted at how straightforward it was. In the box you get everything you need including the screws and rawl plugs. If you already have some kind of curtain rail installed you can do what I did which was just use the existing screw holes to attach the new brackets. Just clip the new rail onto the brackets, twist the levers to lock the rail on and you're good to go. This kit will do 2 small windows as 4 end caps are supplied, so I did my front window as well today after a break.

I needed a three metre curtain rail. This was substantially cheaper than the leading brand. It is of OK quality, certainly adequate. The biggest problem is that the rail, which is coiled for delivery, will not go straight, despite having both reverse coiled it, and leaving it flat for a few days. That is not a disaster, but you may need to use more supports than you had expected

Iam over moon . All of the previous ones I ve bought else were , were just rubbish . This one I got from Amazon is FANTASTIC . Easy to fit in :Iam suprised that some of the people were struggling with such simple fitting . Only the -Limited Person would have had a problem with fitting this curtain truck . Iam just a woman , with no experience .. and if I was able to do this work .. any one could do just the same. I am so happy with that Curtain track and planing to use in my other “ windows “ inventions / idea . This truck is fantastic to use in difficult areas .,, You can easily bend it , shape it , attached it . Fantastic and good value for money ! People ! Hey that !!!!!!!

Fácil de instalar

Sehr gut, kann ich nur weiter empfehlen. Ich habe es für einen Vorhang unter der Küchenzeile benutzt, die über Eck geht. Montage ist sehr einfach, jedoch hab ich andere Schrauben verwendet weil diese zu lang waren. Ich habe mir die Hälfte der Schiene benutzt deswegen haben die Haken vollkommen gereicht. Wobei ich den anderen zustimme dass es für die volle Länge viel zu wenig Haken sind. Super finde ich vorallem, das die Haken und die Befestigung sich nicht gegenseitig im Weg sind, was ich zuerst befürchtet habe, so ist die Montage sogar viel einfacher. Der Preis ist aber unschlagbar, ich wollte mir erst bei Ikea ein ähnliches set zusammen stellen jedoch war dann die Hauptschiene nicht lieferbar, habe dann bei Amazon diese Variante gefunden die für meine Bedürfnisse sowieso viel besser geeignet und insgesamt auch günstiger war. Das Teil scheint auch sehr robust zu sein.

El riel es genial. Tengo ventanal de bahía y se adpta muy bien. Lo enrolle al contrario de como biene enrrollado y lo dejé un par de horas para que cogiera forma, despues le corte lo que me sobraba. Se coge tanto a pared como a techo y las cortinas corren sin problema. Totalmente recomendable

Ich habe lange nach einer Möglichkeit gesucht, die Scheiben in meinem Van abzudecken, wenn wir darin übernachten. Nun habe ich die Lösung gefunden und bin sehr zufrieden.
