They Like to Never Quit Praisin' God: The Role of Celebration in Preaching (Revised, Updated)

Another good book that gives us a quadrangular view of situation, complication, resolution and celebration in the text and the sermon. Very constructive and contextual to African American theology and those who aspire to celebrate in preaching.

This book is amazing and a must read for clergy at any level.

By far, one of the best books on preaching that I have read. Blessings to Dr. Thomas for his amazing exegetical and homiletic insights, while also offering a workable model and platform for all preaching. A must read for all preachers.

Excellent book which makes profound explanation of an important aspect of the African American preaching praxis. I was impressed enough to place his anthology of African American preaching on my summer reading and to by list. Extraordinary effort a wonderful read.
