- This large, pure white radish is also known as “Minowase Daikon” and has a very smooth, delicate tuber that is less spicy. The 25 to 35 cm long and 5 cm thick radish tends to grow and, as a result, develops green edges at the top. Its rich flavour is due to the mustard seed oil that is embedded in the storage tissue. …..
