“HVAC spells wealth on steroids”
There are two kind of people in life “dreamers”and “doers.” Reading this book is isn’t for the “dreamers”it’s about the American dream and the “entrepreneurial doers.” Many books facilitate the “pipe dream” and what you “should do” in business. Very few books give you the steps and focus and emphasis on the “how to do it.” In this book( I mean guide because that’s what it really is) it specifically gives you the recipe of success in a finite HVAC world which is exceptional. At the same time it’s diagnosis of of your HVAC business understanding as an HVAC contractor financially. Whether your at the beginning, middle or end of your business this book navigates the rough waters of the blue collar trade. It eloquently tells you how to step by step become a profitable HVAC entrepreneur. Not many authors can tell you the how’s and why’s to make money and especially how to articulate this. This book is by far the best ever in its class...It’s “HVAC spells wealth” on steroids and twice as much relevant in 2018.

Make More Money
As a former contractor and now a distributor territory manager this book is the real deal for contractors and territory managers who want to be business experts in the HVAC industry. This easy reads allows me to share information with prospective and present dealers to sharpen processes and maximize their net margins. This book is also great for new start-ups that need details on how to correctly price jobs and manage their overhead. I was in business in the mid-1990s and understanding market caps and the importance of service agreements would have generated greater cashflow to grow my add-on replacement and service business by hiring more people. Kudos to the authors for giving the industry a reference guide that can be used for years to come.Chris Smith

A "Must Read" for anyone who wants to be successful in the HVAC contracting business.
Make More Money is an absolute "Must Read" for anyone who wants to be successful in the HVAC contracting business. The book's overall content and principles are presented in such a simple, logical and digestible way that it makes for a very quick and engaging read. Make More Money is not riddled with fluff, buzzwords or theory. Instead, it's a mandatory and practical guide to the basics of operating and marketing an HVAC business written by individuals who have deep knowledge and expertise in that space. In the few months I've had the book, I've read it three times and dog-eared and highlighted so many sections that I'll soon be needing a new copy. I've been in the HVAC business for over 20 years and if there was one book I would recommend to someone either starting out or wanting to be more profitable in HVAC, it would be Make More Money.

In the HVAC or Plumbing Business, this is a must read!
Having worked in the HVAC and Plumbing industry for over 30 years, I can testify that when it comes to training, we often focus on the product, application and system side of the business. Having met Scott a few years ago, he made me really think about the business side of the industry. Make More Money does a great job with the basics and working through the most important aspects of getting paid fairly for ones services. Learn how to truly calculate your overhead and gain some new perspective. This is a terrific read for any tradesman, vendor, representative, etc. Make More Money is a must read for anyone that touches the industry.

I wish I’d read this two years ago.
Had I read the first chapter of this book in 2017 I would’ve saved myself one and a half million dollars over the last three years. I’ve read HVAC spells wealth and the E-Myth series and both of them are valuable but in my opinion bloated with a lot of extra information that doesn’t specifically pertaining to the small contractor and is obviously designed to make the book longer. This book is very readable to the average consumer with pertinent information that you can implement immediately and see changes in your business. I’ve learned some of these lessons the hard way but I am optimistic that this new knowledge will keep me from making future mistakes. Regardless of if you are a existing HVAC contractor or a new one starting out read this book and follow the advice.

I’ve read so many books but this one is easily the best!
Bought the book not knowing what to expect. I loved it right away. It was easy to read and to the point. You can tell Scott knows what he is talking about. I really like how he explains everything in detail step by step and then follows it up with actual math to prove what he is saying is correct. I’ve read so many books but this one is by far the best. I wish I had this book when I first started out. It’s a great book for everyone, wether you’re just starting your own business or been in business for a while you will learn something new. I’m on my second read now. Definitely recommend to everyone, will be asking our supplier if they can bring him in to hopefully teach a class soon.

A must read for HVAC contractors
I have been in the HVAC industry for 8+ years working for manufactures and distributors selling multiple brands of HVAC equipment from Goodman to RHEEM and I wish every contractor, small or large would read this book. It covers a lot of concepts that most contractors overlook and get wrong including pricing, overhead, people management, and financial statements. Most companies I have worked with are great HVAC technicians but are always missing some business aspects that cost them money. If you own your own HVAC business or are thinking about starting one, I would recommend this read and start picking up the money left on the table.

Great tool to differentiate yourself from the competition!
As a new territory manager in the HVAC business with no industry experience this book has really helped me establish great relationships with current and new customers.Using the information in Chapter 2 as an introduction of the book as a whole, my customers have been able to verify that they are making money on jobs and in one case using these principles a customer realized they were leaving close to $600 on the table per job.Knowing what this information can do for my contractor customers I am making sure each contractor has a copy of this book and I will be helping them implement many of the financial concepts In it.
