2 blades, powerful, inexpensive, lazer guide
I originally thought about buying a second hand circular saw as I don't rally use one too often, however I had a look around Amazon and saw this one which matches the specs of the more expensive brands. So for the cost of a new one with a guarantee against a second hand version it was a no brainer.I got stuck into some decking today and this saw did the business. I had to take of and edge from 2 inches to a fine point and it coped really well without splintering. It comes with 2 blades, one for rough cut wood and another for finer wood and plastics. It has a manual cutting guide and also a lazer point guide. Plenty of electrical cord (around 3 meters). All in all, a great saw for the money. More than happy with my purchase.

Household must have item.
Everything can be DIY by myself nowaday, there is a lot of helpful appliances can be bought online. As well as this saw, which I can become a household-carpenter.I bought this because I read through its spec, product description and I was quite impressed. Once I received , i tried straight away with just tile and wood, it is sharp enough to cut smoothly and defo as mentioned on spec, 2 different blades work with different pieces. And the other user friendly stuff is the laser, and angel adjustment, instead of using a pen and ruler to mark b4 hand, this ‘function’ helps to ease , save this process. Generally, I am kn love with this product, one recommendation here is, if the package can come with a pair of work gloves it will be great.

Better than it looks for money
When I first opened the packaging and started putting it together, I spent some time looking for the supposedly supplied tool to keep the blade still whilst tightening or loosening it.I initially thought that it either wan't included, or that I'd lost it, but it turns out that the tool has been replaced with an easier to use locking lever on the saw, so that's better really as it's one less thing to lose.Performance wise, it seems to be every bit as good as the Bosch one I was replacing (after nearly 15 years). It's noisy, but no more than any other I suspect. There is an attachment supplied to enable the use of a bag or a vacuum (I assume), but no bag was supplied and the attachment was too small for a Henry vacuum cleaner hose. I got around that by using gaffer tape and taping the attachment to the vacuum hose and managed to cut around 7 x 2metre chip board panels without any mess at all.But then the vacuum cleaner bag burst inside the Henry - but only because it was over-filled and was no fault of the saw. Lesson learned, new Henry bags ordered!I didn't find it particularly easy to use, but what circular saw is? As a reluctant and ageing DIYer, I find most things more difficult than I expected these days. The important thing is that it worked. It comes with two blades. One is rough cut blade for rip sawing and the other one (which I used) is for a better cut, but I can't remember the tooth count, but it seemed to spin fast enough and it did the job neatly.

Really good buy
Bought this as a replacement of my old circular saw. I must say I wasn’t ready to buy a new circular saw as its really not something you buy everyday and it’s not cheap either. At least until I saw the deal on this particular one and as sceptical as I was because it was not a branded one , I decided to buy it. So it came, really quick once again like all my prime orders. The box is really easy to unpack and it has instructions on how to use the saw, it has a ruler, batteries for the headlight and an extension cone for the dust spread. Mounted it all together and gave it a try.i amNot sure if it’s because it’s a newer model than my old one but it’s making minimum noise and it revs really high. The guide lights it’s also brilliant and something I didn’t have on my old one. Overall really happy with by bargain buy

What more do you need.
A friend has a more expensive make of saw, which I had borrowed one too many times, so decided time to buy my own. This is a better saw , I used it for a whole day pretty much non stop cutting decking, nothing at all to complain about, buy with confidence.

Good value for money
Good saw and quite powerful although you'll need to buy a finer blade if you want to cut anything like worktops. Laser guide seems pretty accurate and is switched on and off by a button at the front of the handle. Can't understand why this is powered by aa batteries though, as it's easy to switch on by mistake and if you don't realise you'll come back to dead batteries. My jigsaw laser is powered by the mains. My saw came without a spanner to change blades but luckily my angle grinder spanner fits.

A superb Meterk Circular Saw
I needed a budget Circular Saw to trim the bottom of two doors so chose the Meterk Circular Saw. This is my first so I cannot compare it with others but I am really impressed. It comes with two blades (wood + wood/soft metal), has a plate guide to use if the wood being cut is smooth and the end is parallel, and the laser light is brilliant. It is also a nice weight to reduce the risk of the dreaded "kick back" and a vacuum cleaner nozzle can be connected to reduce the sawdust spread from the outlet.About the only negative is the instruction book is not to clear about some points. e.g. It says to lock the blade when tightening it up, but the guide does not say where the blade lock is. Fine if you have such tools before, not fine if this is your first.Even so, highly recommended, two doors trimmed for a new carpet in less than five minutes. I'm happy.Update: We needed an old shed taking away, the waste guys wanted to cut it up to make it easier to load into their van so used the saw to slice it up. A 6 ft * 8 ft was sliced into manageable pieces in less than 30 minutes. I was pleased with how well the saw worked, and they were pleased with how easy it made their job. Nice One

Good value. Comfortable to handle
I didn't want to spend a bundle on a circular saw since I only going to use it for a couple of projects. This one does the job perfectly, it's quite comfortable to handle and at least in wood works perfectly.I'm very happy with my purchase and it's not massive so it doesn't take too much room.
