Beautiful Faucet at a great price
I ordered two of the Ultra chrome faucets for our master bath, and they look and feel great. The units I received operate smoothly with no wobble. They are as beautiful to me as faucets that sell for twice the price. Our install is in Victorian sinks that sit atop stone, so the faucets only had to go through the porcelain. But I think they'd work going through fairly thick granite, too. (I have a satin version installed through 1" granite in another bath that had room to spare.)They were fairly simple to install and came with decent instructions and a toll free help number, but the directions weren't as complete as I'd have liked. For example, the spout stem has three o-rings and a nut on it when you open the box. But to take off the nut so that you can install a metal and a rubber washer above it on the stem, you have to slide the top o-ring out of it's groove temporarily--moving it down the stem slightly so the nut will pass over it. (It's not difficult to push the o-ring back into place later, but you must remember to do this since it's not in the directions.) Also, the spout washers have a slot in them that must be placed in the rear so that the drain pull stick can slide down through the spout and then through the washers. It would have been nice to have this pointed out in the directions, too, although if the stick won't clear the spout, you easily realize the issue.I did have a little trouble getting the brass retainer rings onto the handle stems. The threads are VERY fine, and when you're upside down under a sink trying to keep a metal washer in place above you AND screw on a finely threaded retainer ring--it's harder than you'd think. I finally thought to spray the faucets stems and rings with WD40 lubricant, and they went on much more easily. The only area where the quality seemed a little lacking was with the plastic "Y" hose that connects the handles to the spout. They seem kind of flimsy to me. But they do install MUCH more easily than coiled lines--you just push them and they snap into place. And since they're only lines between the handles and spout and NOT water supply lines, they aren't under constant, high pressure. So the lines seem strong enough.Hope my install hints help some other DIYer. Just a reminder: if you are installing a new sink or stone top, it's MUCH easier to install the faucet into the sink or stone top before installing the sink in a cabinet.

Sturdy and Very Pretty Faucet
This is a well-made faucet and a really good value for the price! I ended up buying an open-box from Warehouse Deals so I'm not sure how the actual faucet comes packaged, but mine was missing installation instructions. However, a quick Google search brought me to the manufacturer's website which had a *.pdf version that was quite helpful. Our faucets are all older, so I've never installed the quick-connect kind (the lines from the faucet handles to the spout are quick connect and don't require any wrench, tightening, etc.) but love it and will definitely look for more like this as I replace other faucets in my house!PEDESTAL SINK USERS BEWARE! I'm using mine in a tight-spot pedestal sink installation so the rod that controls the drain trap is a little awkward because it sort of hits the back wall of the pedestal sink on it's way up. Thankfully, it's used in a little powder room so we should have to close the drain too often. The only other reason I've deducted a star is the color. While it is a very shiny, brilliant silver, the color looks a little off - a little TOO silver if that makes any sense? It almost doesn't look real. I actually spray painted it oil-rubbed bronze and just chose it for it's design and lines so it didn't affect me too much but just a warning to those looking for real "silver" color

Be Careful When You Make Connections
I had some trouble with the quick connects leaking. On third try I got it right. The quick connects go from the valves to the faucet. After you think you have the connection made, you have to give it another push. You won't find out whether you got it right until you try to use the faucet. So be prepared to turn the water off quickly. This unit swivels. I think that sets it apart from others. It appears to be of excellent quality and looks really good.I bought the close set version of this faucet and it does not have this design. It has the standard 1/2" threaded supply connection and does the mixing internally.

It is a beautiful, heavy pot filler
We bought this for a house we are building, but were not quite to the stage where we needed yet. I had it packed away in storage and got it out for our plumber to use today. It is a beautiful, heavy pot filler, so as far as happiness with the product, I give it 5 stars. My issue is that I was given two cold knobs rather than a hot and cold. This is a problem because we are running hut water to our pot filler. It seems cheap to have a "c" on a nice fixture when what comes out is "h". I have missed the return window and am not sure to go about getting my "h" knob.

Reasonable For a Budget Faucet
Newsflash! This is NOT comparable to a $400 Kohler faucet! Of course, at less than 1/4 the price, how could it be?I bought two of these to upgrade the ones in a house I plan to own for about 2 more years. I'm confident that they'll be in this house longer than I will. They do have some plastic pieces, so be wary of using harsh cleaners on them.Make sure that you wrap the tailpiece with teflon tape and hand tighten well. The "barely there" threads (see photo) will leak otherwise.All-in-all, I'm not disappointed.

"chrome" faucet aerator is plastic.
Overall, the faucet has worked well. The directions were confusing, because the pieces come with the parts already on them and you have to take them all apart to actually assemble it. But buyer beware, the low price of this item may be because not all the parts are metal. I had a candle in my sink (which was my bad entirely), looked over and saw the faucet literally dripping onto the candle. The glue holding the aerator together just expanded like crazy, the traditionally plastic parts on the inside were melted, and the "chrome" on the outside buckled and split. Picture attached. Too bad Ultra Faucets doesn't sell replacement parts.

Beautiful faucet
I ordered this faucet in brushed nickel for our new bathroom. It is beautiful!! Love the sleek look. My only complaint is that the faucet fittings appear so be cheaply made. There was a bit of leaking from the drain piece when my husband installed it but I think he got it fixed nicely.

Nice look, terrible quality!
While these faucets look lovely, the quality is terrible. After only a week, they were leaking like crazy despite professional installation. Thankfully we were able to return them to Amazon and replaced them with Delta faucets which have been great! You definitely get what you pay for, these faucets are definitely too good to be true!
