Great education

Beautiful illustrations and interesting text. It's better as a memorization book than as a coloring book though, because most of the spaces to color in are so large and simple. Each page has a large line drawing of leaves and twigs, with a smaller drawing of the overall shape of the tree. I would use this with kids or adults to help them learn how to identify trees.

I've used this in my classroom for years. It is the perfect introduction to leaf study. The book includes types of trees, location, seed pod, and colors the leaves turn in the fall. Information is also provided about how to identify the bark. I highly recommend this book for teachers and parents and anyone who's interested in trees and leaves.

Found a few mispellings (typos) on a couple of pages. But the information and the illustrations are great! I will try some of the other books in this series.

Very nice. Will use this as a reference when the grandkids draw and paint trees.

Great coloring

Would have given this a better review, but I just wish the pictures weren't two-sided.
