You Wouldn't Want to Be on Apollo 13!

This series of books is the best thing since sliced bread. My grandson, who has dyslexia, has this in his homeschool program. Since it is cleverly illustrated, it impresses on his mind easily. The style is refreshing and interesting for the teacher as well. I highly recommend this series to anyone who want to create a love of history in a childs heart.

This is an awesome book for the space enthusiast! The book is filled with fun facts about the Apollo 13 mission. It is written in a way that is appealing to all ages, with lots of animated pictures! I highly recommend this book for ages 5 and older.

We like this book but I feel like our copy might be missing pages? The last page is the explanation for how the capsule needed to approach reentry at just the right angle. Then, the next page shows the capsule parachuting down. But there is no text, no explanation about the reentry, and no explanation for how the astronauts were picked up. It never even says how the whole thing ended or if they even survived. The last page of the is the capsule parachuting down, then that is followed by a list of dates and definitions. It all ends so abruptly so I'm assuming I am missing pages.
