Angle Grinder Stand Grinder Holder Cutter Support Aluminum bracket iron base100-115-125 angle grinder cutting (4in-4.5in-5in)

I got this to cut old window screen frames for another project. Fit my old angle grinder with no problems. Just had to find the right blade to cut aluminum (carbide tip saw blade is best).The only thing is the size and width of material is limited because of the blade size, but is the best way to cut small items and easy to store.

had an extra angle grinder... a real cheapo HF $20 er Wanted a chop saw for the small stuff I make for my hot rods and such like brackets etc. Have limited space on my workbench where my drill press and grinder and a super small 110 arc welder are. on that side of the bench the only fairly large (for purpose) thing is my 6.5" vise. and my full size grinder. So I figure that for the money why not try this thing out? Glad I did. Went together pretty easy. Everything needed but the grinder was in the box. I guess all 4.5" grinders must be really close to the same cause this thing uses the handle mount holes to secure it. It is not heavy duty by any stretch but... honestly? it is pretty well made. I had it unboxed and put together and making my first test cut in an hour maybe maybe less. There are adjustments which you will need. my cut was off a bit at an angle. easily adjusted out. Again.. not for big jobs Think of it as a steady way to use your angle grinder. Sorta like those things that turn your hand drill into a drill press. Still playing with the adjustment to get a square cut but it is doable.

It wasn't the easiest to put together, however I got my 4 inch grinder on snug. It appears very universal as it allows minor shifts in assembly to compensate various styles. The blade on mine hits the open slot as it should. The grinder I put in it I plan to keep in it, it would be a hassle to change it out alot, and I can get another angel grinder cheap. This will work great for my application of chopping.

Too much not to like about this thing. The base is very thin and flexes with light pressure. Mine was sent with 2 missing bolts and one of the adjusters has left hand threads, but all of the nuts for it are standard. If you are using a 4-1/2 inch grinder you can't get anything larger than 1/2 inch material in the clamp at a 45 degree angle, and even then it doesn't look like it will cut all the way through.
