Beautiful book, a great read aloud for children and parents! This book is gorgeous and so beautifully written, a great story to bring into your kiddos libraries.

One of my favorite chapters in The House on Mango Street adapted for me to read to my daughter. Huge fan.

How can you go wrong with Sandra Cisneros. She writes a great book for the masses whether English speaking or Spanish speaking. This is a great book for the Latino population to help with words and language.

I was pleasantly surprised to receive an autographed copy of this high quality children's book! A great way to spark a discussion about multiple types of diversity with children...AND ADULTS.

What can I say about this book? I use it in 4th grade for similes and metaphors lessons. Easy read-aloud for kids 8-12. Sandra Cisneros' way with words is fluid and melodic.

Such a simple yet wonderful book. Every child would relate and make meaningful connections.
