Why choose the Insecticide ? The 1500 watts, 4.5 bars Simbr is multi-purpose cleaner, great for mopping and cleaning. Using ordinary water heated to over 200 degree Fehrenheit, the Insecticide effectively and naturally cleans and sanitizes a wide variety of surfaces. The 105 °C (221 ℉) pressurized high temperature penetrates deep into surfaces and quickly eliminate grease, grime, stains. Ideal for cleaning and detailing cars, trucks, motorcycles, or boats, the cleaner removes stains and odors from upholstery, carpeting, and floor mats, as well as grease and grime from engines, wheels, and chrome accessories. It also works well for removing stuck-on dirt from the BBQ grill, patio furniture, or garage. The "Insecticide ready" light indicates when the unit is ready to use, and a Insecticide-control switch provides control over the amount of steam coming from the unit. The cleaner features a storage compartment for many of its 13 attachments. Its 13.12ft power cord, caster wheels, and included accessories offer convenient mobility and make it easy to clean nooks and crannies in hard-to-reach places. Temperature is solid at 200 degrees plus
I am completely happy with this unit. Mantaining high heat 200 degrees + was my biggest priority. The price had me worried that the unit would be low quality. It is not!I am a seasoned professional and know equipment and any one like me that does the research will get a quality unit at a very reasonable cost. Sliding door tracks, tile grout, flooring, bed bug steaming, and flooring were my goals. 5 star performance

Good value!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. This is the 5th canister style steam cleaner I have bought in the past eleven years. I used to work full time as a green cleaning house keeper and using a steam clear was a big part of how I did my job. The cheapest one I have owned in the past was about a hundred bucks and the most expensive was close to a grand, so I have experience with a good range of these machines.Cleaning two houses a day five days a weeks has killed these machines for me. Lol. I no longer clean full time but I still do a couple houses for my most beloved customers and needed a machine for my own house as well when my old one recently bit the dust. What I really wanted this time around was something smaller and lighter. I have some serious spinal problems and I just can't carry a large or heavy appliance up the stairs anymore. I also didn't want to pay nearly as much as I have in the past. I'm not using them ALL day long anymore so I figure I don't need one that runs like a tank.I'm giving this product a five star review because of the quality of this machine in relationship to the price. I have had enough experience with these machines to know what you get when you pay a lot more and this on his pretty darn good for the money!Things to consider -Be aware this a boiler style steam cleaner. When you let it sit for a bit the steam inside the hose and wand will turn back into water, so when you push that trigger again the cooled water needs somewhere to go before the steam can make it's way out. This is not a defect in the machine. All canister steam cleaners will work this way. You need to release that cooled water into a sink or a bucket before you get back to steaming. Any boiler, canister style steam cleaner you buy will work this way.The nylon brush is fine. Don't push on it hard enough to splay the bristles. Even my VERY expensive machine came with a set of nylon bristles that were permanently damaged when I used them incorrectly. Lesson learned. The base might crack someday because it's a bit thin. Don't bang it around. The steam cleaning unit itself looks very sturdy. So just take it off the base if you're in a hurried cleaning mood or working in a tight space. The attachments are VERY good. Seriously. They can stand up to the attachments on a much more expensive machine. I was very surprised and impressed by this. The trigger is a little difficult to push so this might not be the right machine for someone with carpal tunnel or arthritis in the hands or wrists. I am pretty sure I showed how it works in my video review. The floor mop attachment is a great design. Very happy with that part. The wheels are a little flimsy. Ugh. I have had wheels pop off of other steam cleaners and vacuum cleaners that cost a fortune, so I've kinda got a thing about crappy wheels on my cleaning appliances now. It is a pain in the but to deal with. I figure I could probably replace them someday if they fail before the unit dies. I show you up close in the vid what the wheels look like.None of my quibbles with machine are deal breakers for me because I have owned steam cleaners in the past that cost over 3 times what this one does and were not 3 times better. You can pay lot more but then you're getting into some seriously diminishing returns in terms of quality for the money. Is this a tru dry vapor machine? Ummmm, no. Is this a good quality machine that does the same job for about a seventh of what a dry vapor machine would cost you? YesIf you know what steam can and cannot clean, you will be happy with this machine. Steam cleaners are not magical. They can't do everything. If you have hard water stains on your shower door, you need an acidic cleaner, not a steam cleaner. If you have really bad soap scum build up in your tub, you might need a cleaning agent like barkeeper's friend or oxyclean to break that up. (Which cleaning agent you use depends on if you have hard water or not, in my experience.) A steam cleaner will maintain that clean tub every couple weeks with very little effort once you get the build up taken care of. What steam cleaners like this are really good at is cleaning in all those little nooks and cranny that are really hard to get to and cleaning sticky and grimy surfaces quickly. Absolutely wonderful for getting around the base of the toilet, cleaning the toilet lid hinges, cleaning around and behind the faucet, cleaning the gunk off electric toothbrushes, cleaning jewelry, cleaning baseboards, cleaning grimey walls and stair railings, cleaning knobs on the stove, blasting out gunk in your bathroom sink drain, cleaning really grimey granite counters that seem to hide all kinds of dried sticky stuff in their complex patterns, cleaning a yucky toaster oven, etc. Steam cleaners have their place. Experiment and you will find out what they can and cannot do. This machine is worth it even if you are primarily interested in the steam mop function, I think. For real, my friends. Get a decent steam cleaner, an 8 volt drill and some brush attachment that fit on the drill and your cleaning will get really easy! Get some Bronner's sal suds, some bar keepers friend, some orange based natural solvent cleaner, and you probably won't ever need anything else to clean your house. (Unless you have pets or a potty training kid, in which case also get the amazon commercial product's concentrated enzyme cleaner. Works like a charm and costs way less than stuff from the pet store.) I also use vinegar and oxygen bleach every once in a while.*I will try to remember to update this review in several months to give anode about durability.

works good for cleaning but not for bed bugs
I liked this steamer but does not get close to 160 degrees min surface temp needed to kill bed bugs. infrared scanner i was using on leather couch was showing around 100 degree surface temp. even with nozzle tip within half an inch and for 5-10 seconds in same spot.

"Steam" is cold...
The directions are not the best, but whatever, I figured out how to use it. I filled with 800 ml of water because the directions recommend that amount for "optimal" steam. I waited for the green light to come on. There was "steam" bit the back spray felt cold. The handle was warm. The tube the water goes through was warm. I let it sit some more. The steam back spray did not feel warm. I passed my hand under the spray of "steam" it was cool. I sprayed a metal chair of 30 seconds. The metal was cold. I let it heat some more. The "steam" never got warm. The stuff I was trying to steam never got clean. I'll be returning this piece of junk. The handheld steamer I have, though small, gets the steam really hot. Don't be fooled by the decent price tag like I was. Spend a little more and save yourself the hassle of returning. If you still buy this, make sure you test the temp of the steam by steaming something and touching it or feel the back spray and test the steam. Don't be fooled by the amount of "steam" you see because if it's cold it isn't going to clean or disinfect anything.

At least 3 defects found in this product.
Poured in the distilled water, waited 30 minutes for the steam to build up. The tank got hot but it never released any steam. Noticed that under the handle an area must have been broken before because there were scuff marks and old dried glue where the 2 pieces of the handle comes together. Tried to turn the knob at the water hole to pour out the water since it obviously wasn’t going to work and couldn’t get the knob off as the screw-in part had been stripped. Wouldn’t catch the threads to rotate off. Returning this piece of junk. I think I will buy from a local store from now on. Don’t buy from this seller.

Very pleased.
I am so pleased with this steamer. I have been fighting cat fleas for the last 5 months. Needless to say I like most want two things. The easest way and the most effective. I am stunned at how this glides over the carpet. It heats to well over 212 degrees. When I first turn it on a small amount of water comes out then the rest is pure pressured steam. They tell you this in the instructions so I was prepared with a dish towel for the water until Io saw the very small amount. I just turn it on and let it heat. I am killing all stages of the flea life cycle. I am completely eliminating the flea dirt in my carpet which is what the larve eat to survive. The canister is light weight to carry and pulls easy on the base with wheels. I do wish the cord were longer. Easy fix with the appropriate grounded indoor extension. I would absolutely recommend siimbr. The price I paid was $89.00 I couldnt be happier.
