Holds great but not for the whole day, not as good as Hicks was and leaves residue around edges especially after sweating.

It was liquid when it arrived so some had leaked out. Used only twice as I traveled with it and it all leased makes out. I thought it was thicker so was surprised it was liquified

I recieved my edge creme today and i was so excited because of the reviews i read.I have natural hair so its really thick and it did hold my edges down for about an hour and a half , the gel is still in my edges so i just have to keep smoothing it down with a brush or my finger after the initial hour. after that my naps just curled right back up.The reason i gave it 3 stars instead of two is because #1 it smells so good and #2 it did not leave any of that white residue on my edges like the other edge cremes .I will continue to hunt for a edge creme to hold my edges down for when i wear my box plaits!!!!!

Smells great but wish it would work great also. Doesnt stay down. I believe maybe it's because i have thick hair, thin hair works perfectly.

Its not greasy, to sticky, or anything like the BSS edge controls. It holds even my coarse edges and doesn't build up quickly. I had it on all day and it didn't unhold, melt off, or create a white residue . I will be buying again. I never tries hicks but I've been told this was better and in glad I got this instead :-)

I am a Black woman who has been natural since December 2010. I need my edges to lay down when I say so! Not whenever they want to. This is a waste of any amount of money. I would not recommend this to anyone who wants there edges to lay down. Now, I did give this more than one shot. I tied my hair down, and would leave it tied down for at least 30 minutes or more. They APPEAR as if they have laid down, but I don't want any amount of fly-away evident after I've paid $$ for a product. It should do exactly what it says, and not fool people.

This is a great product. It really does the job for coarse hair and it last all day! I going to investigate to see if they sell it in a larger size.
