I am a retail size 8, and ordered a size small. I am in between small and medium in general, and this one was rather snug across the chest and shoulders. I would have been more comfortable in a medium, but I made the small work. The quality of the shirt is very good, secure buttons, a bit of stretch to the material and well made. It was perfect for my late 1800s costume I needed for a cemetery walk. Again, if I was to wear this out and about I would’ve been more comfortable in a medium. I am a 36 B, so larger busted women I suggest true to size or size up one.

I bought this blouse for my Halloween costume and it looked great. I like the material. It's not as thick as cotton, but still not that thin. Just perfect. I am 5'9", 170 lbs, and the size M fits me greatly.

Great shirt I got for my costume. Great fit. I got an XL to insure I had arm room. Wasn’t too big fit just right! Can use shirt to wear with an outfit depending on the occasion.

I ordered a large, which is what I usually wear. This was too small, especially the arms. They were too tight. I gave it away. A pretty blouse, though, and would have been perfect for the jacket I wanted to pair it with. I might try a larger size.

- I needed something fast and cheap for a George Washington and Benjamin Franklin video and this was perfect!- I read the reviews so I ordered one size up. I'm usually an M so I ordered L. Pretty fit, not a lot of room to move around- Too bad the sleeves are too short so it's hard to pull them out of the blazer to show the cuffs.

The shirt fits fine for the most part if a bit snug but the arms are definitely too tight. It is a cute shirt but the material is a little thin as well. I also feel like the buttons stop too high on the shirt and the shirt could use a little more length. I got and XL shirt.

The blouse is nice quality and fits well. I just had to wait a long time before I got it. So order way ahead of your event. I would say at least 2 months.

The shirt was too small in the bust area and sleeves are too short; they don't reach my wrists) Bit too expensive but it is nice material. The ruffles fall a bit flat.
