The back floating board is a swimming aid, not a life-saving device. Always consult with a physician before beginning any exercise program.

Great start for swimming
Perfect transition from lifevest - works well along with a noodle at first.

Swim Aides
This product does not stay in place. It moves up and down on the swimmer as well as turns side to side. Not way of securing in one place with the designed strap.

Helps kids learn to swim... small issue
This really helps kids learn how to swim; I slowly took one of the layers until they end up swimming on their own. One thing to be very careful about it that the strap does not stay closed; you have to double knot it. Sometimes it just comes off while they are swimming so you need to keep an eye on it.

It floats!
Cannot really put a value on my foster son being able to float while we taught him how to swim. It's a wonderful alternative for children (or parents) anxious about the water, and allows the childs arms to be unencumbered like in a life jacket. Foster son is 8, and weighs 65 pounds. All four plates helped him float well.

Loosens while swimming
As pictured but the strap to tighten it comes loose while swimming. I have to tie the yellow strap in a knot for it to stay on properly without loosing.

Be ready to constantly tighten the belt
Doesn’t stay on the child very well. A few good kicks in the water and it starts to come loose.
