Exactly as promised
Exactly as promised, no writing in book, no highlighted areas, good condition, gently used, would definitely buy from seller again.

Thorough but biased and needs to be updated
Fairly thorough book that outlines the most common CAM therapies in use today. I especially appreciated the chapters on traditional medicines from different cultures. This was the latest sixth edition from 2018. However, many of the chapters cite severely outdated studies from the 70s and 80s. Micozzi also has some pet CAM modalities that he clearly favors over others and only cites one-sided scientific evidence. He has a weird Chinese medicine fetish and also seems to think that acupuncture cures everything. Some techniques have a whole chapter devoted to them while others barely get a mention. The book is very much against allopathic medicine, which has its flaws but has obviously made tremendous strides over the past 100 years. Overall, it's a decent book but probably not the best out there on CAM.

What about the kBA
Doesn’t give information I was looking for. Hard to understand for the layman.

Ricco di spunti interessanti in tema medicine complementari, approfondisce tematiche filosofiche e scientifiche anche sulle discipline mediche alternative meno note. Acquistato usato come nuovo a metò prezzo, perfetto.
