I picked up this book shortly after publication. It has been a while since a fresh new wireless networking book hit the market.Most of the books out there are written by non-experts. Dr. Salter is a well known expert in this field, so I know the book is authoritative and accurate.I think one of my favorite things about this book is the graphics. Dr. Salter uses very straightforward graphics that show information flow, process, and relationships between components of a wireless solution. Because I'm a visual learner, these graphics really help me solidify the concepts while I'm reading. For example, Figure 3-17 takes the complex concept of Layer 2 vs. Layer 3 discovery and makes it insanely easy to understand.My IT infrastructure doesn't use HP wireless equipment. That doesn't matter. This book explains the concepts in a way that makes all vendor's hardware, software, and infrastructure easier to understand.

Very helpful to understand the concepts for the exam. Great read too. Would buy again and recommend to other exam takers.
