Our Sunday Visitor's Encyclopedia of Catholic Doctrine

A VERY HANDY AND USEFUL BOOK. It is best read with the Catechism of the Catholic Church or similar Catechism at hand but it is helpful for finding information about Catholic teaching on all sorts of matters. I like it.

We have been in a long period of poor catechesis, and in addition to reading the Catechism, it is beneficial to read about doctrine, as there is widespread misunderstanding about it today. This is an excellent, very approachable presentation. Highly recommended for all Catholics, and especially for those concerned with properly educating their children.

I have this encyclopedia in paper back and refer to it often. My neighbor who is entering the Church this Easter has borrowed it many times, so I thought this was the most appropriate gift for him. I know he will really appreciate it.I'm sorry to hear that this encyclopedia is out of print. I was fortunate to find one copy that was still available.

I use this encyclopedia to prepare for my catechism class and gives me a clear and understandable explanation of terms.

This volume is extensive in its scope of subjects. It is easy to find a topic and the information per topic is comprehensive. This will be a wonderful addition to my personal Catholic reference library, and a fabulous resource for our adult faith formation group.

Explains church doctrine in fairly easy format. Great reference book for other books on Catholic doctrine. A must have for any catholic student's library

In depth; but some knowledge of Catholic doctrine would be helpful.
