5 Star for this product...The light strips are well made, in closed with a clear flexible rubber coating and looks like they'll hold up to a lot of different environments. The adhesive tape strip on the back side of the lights is strong and comes with one packaged adhesive booster whip alone with a couple little velcro strips and six plastic wire mounting clips with screws. These lights are bright and brilliant, the music Sync works great and picks up the sound signal well. This light kit comes with everything you need for a small car, truck or SUV install with lots of connection and extensions. I did need to purchase 6 additional "OPT7 extra light kits that just come with TWO 12" light strips and extensions to light up my 2019 Mercedes Sprinter interior. This is when I discovered that you can not simply connect the extra light strips directly in a continuous light line. **IMPORTANT to know** With these light strips they are not like other strips where you can add extra strips simply connecting directly into the other making a train line of lights. These require you to use their "Y" connector, the ones provide are 3" long so you will end up with a 3" long gap between strips. Other strips I have used simply plug directly into the same strip giving you a continuous line of lights. So something to keep in mind if purchasing this product. I was lucky when I bought these, my intentional reason for buying this product was to light up my 2019 Mercedes Sprinter which would not have worked because of the single strip connecting to the another single strip only with their 3"long "Y" connector, I wanted an unbroken light line. My luck, I just so happen to need lights in my 2019 Cadillac Escalade ESV, so no need to send these back. The APP works well but not great, you"ll need to work with it and have some patience. Once you figure it out it seems less troubling. I would recommend this Light Kit to those of you that only what lights under your two front seats, two rear seats and possibly under your dash in which you will need to purchase OPT7 extra light kit with TWO 12" light strips with plenty of extension wire. I would purchase this product again and from the same seller.

Honestly, expected better. The lights are great. Wiring and kit is good. Could only get one to stick, but its likely the surface composition in my car. They felt sticky enough.. should include a USB adaptor, not just a 12 volt plug or wiring kit. A USB would be super handy. I was still able to get them all installed. The rear seats, I just laid down on the carpet under the seat. On my front passenger side, just kinda tucked it up in a crack. Only light that stuck was under my driver's dashboard. Everything else didnt. Probably just a bmw problem, not the glue. I even rubbed everythjng with 70% isopropyl alcohol too. Im still giving 5 stars because it seems like the company manufactures things well and offered a reasonable price. Another kit i bought for my truck, was about the same price, and I can barely get the remote and stuff to work. These seem well built - minus the glue. I might be able to hack it with a few drops of superglue or something.

These lights are awesome, they have lots of colors, the play to the beat of music, they do all kinds of blinking and movements in different colors and movement patterns and they are bright, do yourself a favor and order them today. I didn't use the cigarette lighter plug so I ordered the power cord that plugs into the fuse box panel with a fuse holder wire tap. It was easy to install, my vehicle is a 2024 KIA Sportage Xline.

Generally speaking, it's a nice light set, as long as you don't try to install it in a way it wasn't intended. My issue is with attempting to hard-wire it to my dome light circuit so that the lights come on automatically when the doors are opened and then eventually fade out after the doors are closed. I wired it this way and then discovered that the lights will come on GREEN EVERY TIME, for a second or two before switching to you last selected color. Think of the "controller" as a little computer that needs to "boot up" when first powered on. When you first give power to the controller, it always starts with green, then the controller boots up (or loads all settings) and restores your last color. Then shows your preferred color. There's no way around this: it's the way the controller is designed. Other difficulties installing the lights: [1] I can see now that I would probably prefer a sturdy LED bar that can be zip-tied to the car easily over a flexible LED strip that needs to be taped. There won't often be nice surfaces to tape the LED strip where you want. You'll end up using zip ties anyway, which would work better if the LED strip was sturdy rather than flexible. [2] The controller only has two outputs for four LED strips. You need to wire two of the LED strips in serial (okay) but that creates an awkward installation where you run a wire to the far side of the LED and then the LED strip comes back toward where the wire came from. It seems like going out of the way and using too much wire. [3] I tested all four of my LED strips before installing and they all worked, but then one stopped working after I installed it. I'm certain it's a wiring connection issue. I'll call the company to see if they can send a replacement. [4] There's no power cord provided that will be long enough for a hard-wired installation. I found an old power supply with the same size barrel connector and cut the wire from that. Nice features: The remote control works really well, even when the controller is hidden. I tried the app and it seems to work well, and provides more features than the remote control. The "auto" and "music" modes seem to work well (even without the app). The LEDs are nice and bright, and the brightness is adjustable. I think everything would work out well for you *IF* [a] you plan to just power it with the provided cigarette lighter plug, or [b] you plan to hard-wire it with constant, "always on" power.

Overall it is a very good product. It shines bright is pretty easy to install and is very high quality. I had an issue with one stand when I first plugged it in, but got it replaced almost immediately and the new ones worked great. The app also has a lot of great modes on it, would recommend.

2013 VW CC install Read the instructions. Ensure you have ALL the parts. Plan your wiring. Place lights in area you plan to install and plug in to cigarette adapter to test lighting before install. Depending on vehicle and install you choose, plan on an hour or so to install. So, I didn't read all instructions and didn't realize what I thought was an antenna is actually the auxiliary wiring for door assist. This required having to run the wire a second time. Best if you're hard wiring to ensure your path and do it only once. Most frustrating thing was the wiring path in my Volkswagen coupled with 96 degree heat outside. Run your wires and depending on your car, run the auxiliary line but leave it unplugged. Unless you absolutely know your car and wiring, this is a 20 dollar "install" fee at most mechanics. Get it all set up and installed and have the pro hook the door assist up. Why? Well, depending on vehicle and how your lights turn on depends on best option to install. Example, if your interior lights fade on and off, it's likely the strips will blink when you open the door if just connected to door trigger. I had 1 strip where about a quarter didn't stick properly. Make sure you clean the area thoroughly before attaching. Use the provided pad, "adhesive booster" to wipe down the cleaned area, wait 60 seconds and then install. If you lose, don't have or the pad dries out, use rubbing alcohol and wait the 60 seconds before installing. I used a pin drop of super glue for the one piece. Bright and fun to use. However, the sound of my car on racing tires triggers the lights during the sound sync mode. You can adjust the sensitivity, but it made me realize just how loud my interior sounds while driving without music and air going. The lights appear to be extremely close to syncing with sound. Lights are a great accent to the interior and fun to play with. Worth the time and money IMHO Adhesion 4.5 out of 5, only because the one didn't stick well. That could be, I didn't clean well enough or the adhesive. Brightness 4.75 of 5, could be a bit brighter. However, installation location impacts this a bit. Plus you don't want them to distract or garner unwanted attention.

The OPT7 Aura Pro interior lights with remote and app is a great product. The LED lights are adjustable from dim to bright, music sync is cool, functions well and installs very easily. And customer service responds promptly. But I have to tell you about my experience when I purchased on Amazon. The product description states that it includes two 5 foot extension cables and two 12 foot extensions. My product came with four 5 foot extensions and no 12 foot extensions. I contacted customer service and they did send me two 12 foot extensions at no charge. I appreciate that. They just need to make sure that customers get the 12 foot extensions as described.

Let me explain why you shouldn't buy the pro. I wish I could get a refund. The ability to use Bluetooth and a phone app sounds like a dream but it isn't. The app is absolutely garbage. Poorly made like someone just learned how to make an app. It never connects. I have to sometimes turn my Bluetooth on and off multiple times on my phone to even get my lights to show up on the app. And I even downloaded this app to multiple phones to test. Android and ios alike all had this issue. The app color wheel is not designed well either you'll doing for forever trying to get to the color you want. Not to mention there's a big delay. The door light assist does not work. And trying to get my lights to come on when I open my doors was a nightmare and doesn't work at all. Even at one point my lights came on by themselves in the middle of the night. I came out in the morning to my lights on. (be careful where you wire these lights if you use the Fuse option) Since the app barely functions trying to turn the lights on or off or to different colors is impossible. I sat for 20 minutes or longer just trying to connect to change color. Big big issue with the fact that the app REQUIRES location and access to your photo gallery. Why? All this app should need is Bluetooth. Why the he** do you need access to my photo gallery and location?!!! The app will kill your battery even when you aren't using it. Get the remote version. Do not waste your time getting the pro. There's nothing pro about it. I now get to spend another 49 bucks to get the remote version and hope to god I can just switch to the remote box and take out the piece of garbage Bluetooth box that is the pro without having to take down all the lights as the install took awhile to do. Easy but took awhile.
