To start off this tire is plain awesome, yes it does have high rolling resistance but it makes up for it in the turning and stopping traction. The tire is soft where you need it and hard when you need it. This tire defiantly puts my brakes to the test on steep loose hills.

This tire offers amazing grip and super confidence in rock, loose over hard pack, mud or roots. The only downside is that the huge knobs occasionally pick up a pebble and fling it in the air. I ride with a front fender, so it’s not an issue up front. I tried one on the back also, and it was so close to hitting the frame that when pebbles kick up in the rear, they hit the frame loudly. (2019 scott spark 960 says it can handle a 2.6 tire, but this one is too close) I would love it as a front and rear tire if my frame had more space. TRACTION FOR DAYS!!!

Absolutely lives up to the hype. Can handle Wet and rainy conditions as well as dry. Handles very well just rides a little slower then your stock tire but definitely 100% worth it if you want to stay on your bike on those dicey trails and jumps.

This is a great tire however in my opinion they are just like most tires these days very overpriced. Thats not the vendors fault more the manufactures and what they feel they can charge. I still buy them and still complain. The last two had the weird tread issue from manufacturing I believe a lot of people had the same issue. Outwardly there was nothing that you could see in the tire before mounting, and once mounted and seated in the bead it looked like your rim was bent due to some MFG issue. This never went away. Hopefully this one doesn't have that issue

I was wondering if this product was triple compound and the answer is yes. Very satisfied with the price for such a great tire from Maxxis.

Grips well in all around conditions. Would buy again depending on cost

Hab mir diesen refein von maxxis für mein Haibike fully geholt und er is der hammer hinren fahr ich den minoin dhr 2. Immer super halt in den kurfen

Die Reifen ließen sich gut auf die Fahrradfelgen montieren und überzeugten mich durch gute Qualität, über die Langlebigkeit kann ich noch nichts sagen aber die erste Tour mit den neuen Reifen machte viel Spaß.
