AudioQuest NRG-Z3 Low-Distortion 3-Pole AC Power Cable - 6.56' (2m)

Despite my skepticism, this AC power cord improved my 2-channel hifi system in all aspects: increased dynamics, bigger soundstage, clearer bass, smoother vocals, and better instrument separation. In fact, I gained a new appreciation for the meaning of all of those audiophile terms after an entire weekend of dissecting the changes introduced by the cord. Music is now more engaging and immersive than before. I can comfortably say the improvements justify the retail price and that I could pick out the differences in blind tests.For reference, my system costs around $4,000 USD. The cable's retail price compared to my system's total cost seems to be an appropriate ratio (about 4%). If your system costs less, you may get a bigger performance increase from upgrading your source or DAC. Making those choices is part of the fun of the hobby. There also may be better value power cords out there, but unless I'm loaned test cords for free (hint), I'm not going to bother with buying and testing alternatives as I'm happy with this one.

This cable was delivered promptly and in excellent condition. Many folks will consider any power cable that costs hundreds of dollars to be overly priced. This is not a product for them. For those listeners who appreciate the difference that well designed and manufactured cables can make in an audio system, this cable will be a relative bargain. I’m using this cable to power my integrated amp and am very pleased. Recommended!

Well anyone who pays this much for a power cord has a bias to validate their wisdom. I am no different. But the reviews from like minded disciples of audiophile toys were persistently positive. So if you spend so much on your equipment it makes it easier to justify paying this much to plug in your audioquest Niagara 1200.

First thing I heard was blackened up the noise floor.. nice improvement in micro detail .. vocals got bigger bass tightened up.. highs smooth and imaging improved.. very happy with it on my dac

As an owner of many Audioquest cables this is their best mid price cable before you get into the crazy prices near $1000 and higher. Use for my recording system with my Pure 2 Antelope Audio interface.

Excellent recommended cord for the Audioquest Niagara 1200 power conditioner.

I thought it was a silly idea to buy a fancy power cable. And, I was wrong! The very first step was to use it on the amp -- the low noise disappeared, and the music came forward powerfully.A very good buy!!!

I admit that I am using this to power my computer. So most of its designated purpose isn't being employed. With that said, I know it is delivering cleaner power because the sound quality of the sound card was measurably increased. It also looks cool hanging off the back of the PC. It's a VERY thick cable! If you want to increase your sound quality, I recommend this cable.

It is ever so slight adjustment but your music gets a solid continuous supporting heft . If there is questionable voltage in your home it delivers every bit . It is THICK and not that pliable almost size of quarter . This cord and voltage Controller is a must for higher systems .

Pro: Excellent build quality. Pro and Con: Thick and stiff Listening: Quieter. Opened up the Soundstage. A bargain. If you have not made the leap to cable upgrades. Try it it may surprise you.

Upgrading my power cables and a repeat buy on this product that has already improved performance elsewhere in my audio set up.

I would give it 5 stars if it was a bit cheaper
