after a while the spring may get weak and as the tub drains it rattles...easy fix... take apart and stretch the spring. I put one in my 2nd bathtub and stretched the spring before i put it on to start with

We needed to replace a stopper identical to this one. All of these rings that were supplied did not work, but we were able to get just the seal we needed by using the rings from the old stopper. I'm sure if we had needed to play with it longer, we could have found a solution among all those rings provided. The main thing is, it is nice to be able to close the drain when we need to, and this is easy to use.

Installation was easy; the only tricky part is figuring out which O-ring fits best. Once installed, operation is very simple, with a gentle flip of the lever. The stopper provides a good tight seal with no leakage when closed, and drains well when opened. After about 2 months of use, I have not noticed any issue with hair clogging it. If that ever becomes a problem, it will be pretty easy to pull the entire assembly out, clean it out, and put it back in. This is everything one could want in a drain stopper, at a very reasonable price.

I bought this to replace my worn out tub stopper and it works great.It is nicer than I thought it would be and does the job at a great price.

A good item for older tubs that use the basic stopper. Adds a more modern appearance and is fully functional. A gave a 4-stars rating, simply because the 'O-Rings' supplied for installation just didn't fit the drain assembly, and I had to devise my own.

the level piece broke the first week

Very simple to install I lost parts to the previous one and this worked extremely well

These things are much easier than replacing the whole drain.
