Gets the job done, and the repair kit is a nice addition.

This punch worked well on my ceiling grid project. Much faster than drilling holes and cleaning up the metal shavings mess.

Solid handle build makes these work way better than the cheap grid punch that was solid in the big box store ceiling grind installation kit.

This punch was just what I needed for a DIY suspended ceiling project. Worked like a charm. It was getting a little dull by the end of the project, but the tip is easily sharpened wit a file or a grinder. Would buy again, no problem. It might not be heavy duty enough for someone installing ceilings every day, but for the homeowner, it's great.

The ends needed to be ground down to get inside 9/16ths grid, but that's par for the course. The bite is super long and reaches to the back of the shaft, also an easy fix. solid tool should last a while.

Not the best. Just average. But not bad at all for what you're paying for it. I would buy it again.

REPAIR KIT IS A SIZE DOWN FROM THE 1/8 INCH. MY 1/8 INCH POP RIVETS WILL NOT FIT. I DON'T CALL THAT A REPAIR KIT THE WAY I SEE IT.I WAS SATISFIED WITH THE TOOL UNTIL THE REPAIR KIT WAS IN PLACE. THE PRODUCT DESCRIPTION COULD HAVE INCLUDED THAT INFO WHICH WOULD HAVE AT LEAST BEEN HONEST.

This is first punch I've bought, and it works... my only surprise was that the metal from the hole doesn't get disconnected it just gets pushed out the hole and balls up on the backside... maybe this is normal for this kind of punch, but I was expecting a clean hole.

I used them to fix my suspend ceiling. Take both of your hands sometimes to puncture trought the rai long but not big deal. faster than use a drill and you don’t slipt around and take the paint off.
