I'm My Own Dog

I chose this book based on a Family Fun (Disney magazine) recommendation. It was a good read for my students. I teach art K-2 at a public school with a bulldog mascot so this was perfect for my students to draw! And they loved it. Their bulldog drawings were great and they benefited from some language arts in the process. The storyline is intriguing as the dog has a human follow him home he makes some of the same comments about the human that a human would make about a pet, i.e. you have to clean up after them and they are always yapping. Cute story, great illustrations!

Bought this hoping it was as good as the Interrupting Chicken stories. It wasnt. Cant explain why but it just never connected with us or our grandson. Maybe next time.

These books I bought to fit into my Benchmark Advance curriculum and worked perfectly in my units.

A delightful book, can be enjoyed by people of many ages.

I used a gruff voice while reading this aloud to my students. They loved this dog and his viewpoint of who is really in charge....definitely the dog

Dog lovers will love reading this story to their kiddos. Funny and endearing story

This is very cute and will surely amuse my little granddaughter who loves it when others are naughty. A bonus is that he resembles my Boston terrier.

Did not care for this book. Neither did the grandkids
