It works as a microphone but plugs into the earphone jack so no sound
I bought this to use as a replacement microphone for an iPad so I could FaceTime with my nephew. I tried it on a call and, from what he later told me, he could hear me very well. The problem though, is that the microphone plugs into the earphone jack so I have no speaker on my end to hear my nephew. So, while the microphone worked for the few minutes I used it, it failed for what I wanted it to do.
