I bought this to illuminate the lock on my enclosed trailer on dark nights. It is not too bright (or dim) and only draws about 0.01 amps (It'll drain one amp off your battery in about 100 hours). The photo AND the "Black/White" description leads you to believe that's a frosted or opal lens - it is NOT. It's clear, there is NO white inside, and you can SEE the 3 LED's. Now I'm forced to find and DO a method to make the lens opal on the two I bought. It would've been much better if opalized inside the lens, but it's a sealed unit (impossible now). Fortunately, the whole faceplace removes for full access to the lens and 4 mounting screws. Finally, the description says WHITE LED's, and mine are much more blue-ish white than I wanted. Sure would be nice to ALWAYS indicate the Kelvin (color temp) of ALL "white" LED's (i.e., 3500K, 5000K, 6500K) so a person is sure they'll match w/other adjacent lights. This is a retouched photo compared to what I got, otherwise it would've earned 5 stars.

Came broken . Cheap piece of junk . Cost 2 times as much than a shoreline brand from Walmart and built a lot better ! Th marine should be ashamed for selling such a piece of crap like this !
