WOW!! Finally! A dark chocolate bar that wasn’t super bitter for a former milk chocolate addict and the best part is it’s dairy freeeeeeee!!!!I have been searching... trying every kind of dairy free chocolate I can find. Until now, they have all sucked! This chocolate is smooth and creamy the way chocolate is supposed to taste!Thank you, thank you, thank you, from the bottom of my chocolate dipped heart. I’m now going to gain ten pounds.... 😂

I was watching a TV show about food factories or something like that; and they were showing how the BACONLUXIOUS is made. I was impressed by the attention to detail and the dedication that the owners were putting into making a chocolate bar. They seem to be having a lot of fun. Plus it was a chocolate bar with BACON!!!!Brilliant. So I immediately ordered a bunch. First the packing was excellent and it had dried ice to keep it fresh.next came the flavor.... There are no words to describe the combination of sea salt, chocolate and bacon. Perhaps a transcendental experience? I shared it with friends and family just to see the expression on their faces. in conclusion, I'm placing my second order and I know what to give everybody for Christmas.no more boring chocolate.Thank you.

I first found this in Harris Teeter, but they've stopped carrying this particular version though they have some other Chuao. After a month or two of not finding it in stores, I decided to order it as I would like to share it with some upcoming visitors. The three bars came neatly packed and intact.Flavor wise I have discovered I really enjoy salty chocolate. Add in the hint of bacon you get in this bar and the complex of flavors blends into bliss. I would probably like it even more if it were dark chocolate as ordinarily I do not care for milk chocolate (related to getting very sick from eating way too much of it in a sitting as a child). But this manages to hit the same pleasure-notes that dark chocolate usually provides.I fear developing an allergy to chocolate like my mom had, so I keep eating this down to a square or two at a time. That's plenty to cap off a meal with deep satisfaction. Very recommended, please buy this and keep them from discontinuing it! I want it to be a regular treat for years to come.

The Firecracker Bar combines several treats inside. There’s dark chocolate, a hint of chipotle heat and the childhood joy of popping candy as the bar melts on your tongue. I’m obsessed with it! This was my first time ordering these bars via Amazon and I was surprised at how poorly they were shipped. Instead of a box it was put in a plastic padded mailer so the bars arrived completely demolished inside their wrapper. Very disappointing, especially since this chocolate isn’t cheap, $7 a piece.

Although I love Chuao chocolates, I discovered these bars become discolored long before their "Best By" date. You can see in the image attached, the package reads "Best By 07 FEB 22" but, upon opening it just last month, it looks as pictured. YUCK! And, as I will note on my reviews for other similar bars I've purchased from Chuao, the same is true. They are all discolored long before their "Best By" dates. Shame.Otherwise, the Baconluxious bars are delicious, but I'll stick with the mini versions, as they are tastier and don't need to last as long.

I've been eating/enjoying these great chocolate bars from Chuao for years, but always hated the shipping costs. Unless you live near their factory, you were going to end up paying some pretty hefty shipping costs. Now through Amazon, you can avoid that cost, but..... all 6 bars that I ordered here were broken. They were shipped from the same folks at Chuao, so it's not an Amazon problem I guess. It's not a great big deal for me. I'm going to break them into pieces in order to eat them anyway. These aren't gifts. But at $7 a bar, they should have been packaged a bit better. Yummy!

Definitely not worth spending on just one bar. I ordered a pack of 3 and at a rate of 21 or 28 bucks...I might have been better off eating a Hershey's bar for $1.99. The packaging looks pretty but when I took a bite out of the chocolate, it was pretty mediocre at best. The marshmallows were just plain hard like I almost broke a tooth trying to chew through the marshmallow pieces and seriously....4 almonds in one bar? It's too bad this didn't have a return policy because I would have sent not only the two bars left but the half a bar that I refused to eat because it was just awful beyond belief. Never again buying this brand name. Stick to what you know.

Good. Definitely better then Hershey’s. But you can only taste the sea salt in my opinion and very little to no maple and occasionally a piece of bacon the size of perhaps a few grains of salt for compassion. That was disappointing. Don’t get me wrong. It tastes very good but I was disappointed at the bacon the fact that I could hardly taste the bacon and even when biting into it you can’t even see any bacon. Occasionally I would taste it but it was so tiny like I said about the size of a few grains of sea salt so for my opinion I would make the maple flavor more and absolutely add more bacon because after all it’s a ‘bacon’ chocolate bar
