COIN STORAGE TUBES, round clear plastic w/ screw on tops for NICKELS (Quantity of 25 tubes)

...they weren't tapered.I got these for nickel-sized tokens in a few board games. I wanted sturdier storage than the baggies that you would normally store bits in. Well, I got an idea that these might be awesome if there were plastic tubes the size of these tokens to store them in. These tokens measure about 21mm in diameter by 4mm in thickness. I looked around, tried some paper Nickel tubes and those worked great! Except...they were made of paper. And not too sturdy without adding stickers or tape to strengthen the cylindrical shapes.I saw these on Amazon, meant for storing nickels. These coins are 21.21mm in diameter which I took to mean that these tubes would work great for my intended application! Well, that isn't the case. It turns out that these tubes taper, ever so slightly the farther down you get to the bottom of the tube. So while the bits in my game easily fit in the top of the tube, the tapering causes them to get stuck, which makes them 100% useless for my application. It would be nice if this was mentioned in the description, that the sides of the tubes are not 100% straight and at 90 degrees to the top and bottom of the cylinder.SO, I can't use these for what I need to and will have to go with the paper tubes or move up to quarter-sized tubes...ugh. At least I can use these for nickels or smaller bits.There is a slight issue with the depicted photo of the product. You can plainly see that they are in a box, but when I received them, they were in a flimsy bubble envelope and stored in a plastic bag. Not very happy about that. So be aware that this product does not ship in a box and could potentially, especially with the way the USPS and other carriers handle packages, show up broken.Overall, the lids are OK, the threads are a bit "borked" and tend to get stuck when putting them on. There isn't a smooth way to do this at all. But they'll have some use here or there, I just have to find one.

I received the correct amount of 25.The tubes are clear, sturdy, and the caps screw on nicely.China got this one right.

They served their purpose and was as expected

Tubes are great. Watch quantity though. ALL quantities show box of 100. Easy mistake to make!

I think they're a little overpriced, but I'm able to organize my nickel collection a lot better.

Great to store Mobil chokes tubes... even extended Carlson Sporting clay tubes.

Number of tubes and price

Items work well for purpose intended overall quality good. Well why again when needed.
