Magic Bullet Nutribullet Pro 900 Blender/Mixer (15 Piece Set)

I am so disappointed in this purchase. Every time I have used it, it smells like some sort of electrical burn. At first I thought it could just be some fuzz burn from it being new, but that is not the case anymore. It has leaked in the past, even when specifically following the directions for use. Today when I went to use it, the cup got stuck on the bottom half, and I still cannot get it off. I had to unplug it to make it stop. To make matters worse, it has started leaking again- so now it's stuck on and leaking. I have it upside down on the counter now to prevent the leaking from getting any worse. Terrible purchase- would not recommend

Highly defective design, even after the 900 update. To start this bullet is not even two years old so outside the 1 year warranty that for a "professional" device is to be blunt poor. Within 3 months the colossal container cracked around the top which looks like where the ejection from the plastic mold was released. Ok I can chalk that up to manufactured in China. But it gets better. There are three activation pins (white tabs) when you put the cup into the base and then turn. Turns out only two of the 3 are electrically active and needed to switch on the motor, the third is there to provide spring force and balance when you put in the base "a dummy". Well that is where the problem is. Last week the dummy tab disappeared into the base and the unit stopped working. So I opened it up to find a VERY poor mechanical design. They use a stronger dark plastic (prob HDPE) to mount the tabs to a clear plastic (PC or the like) to the base. In 2 of the 3 tabs the clear plastic portion sheared where the bolts are, essentially rendering the unit dead, even though the motor and the rest of the device is perfectly FINE. Either they overt torqued the bolts in manufacturer, or more likely the weaker clear plastic has exceeded it's shear strength for repeated usage. Either way it is a major product design defect.So here is where it gets good. I call up Nutri support and explain the situation. According to them once out of warranty the can't send you the parts (a few bucks) to fix, you have to purchase a full new base -- destined to break in a year or two for another $55 plus shipping. To make matters worse during the call the support person insinuated that the extractor blades need to be replaced every 6-9 months (I have a oster blender whose base is 15 years), continually. So now you know for a hundred dollar product you will be buying new parts, even if they aren't broken or the design is so poor that the unit is disposable.For all this I am in luck that I used AMEX because the double the warranty so I can get my money back, but I can guarantee that I WONT be spending another dime on a product marketed as pro that barely is designed to last outside of it's warranty.Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere, and shame on Nutribullet for cutting corners on components that may add a few cents to the cost only to have the entire product fail.

We love this product. Very new to the smoothie experience. I have an omega juicer and a vitamix and the cleanup for both was just a little more effort than I wanted at 5 am. With the Nutribullet I just spray off the blade attachment, put on a lid and go. I bought extra flip lids so my wife and I can both take them. It's very fast. Takes me longer to take fruits and veg out of the fridge/freezer than it does to make the smoothie. My recommendations for new users:I freeze fruits and veg that are getting close to their fridge life expiration. They go into the smoothie saving money and ensuring there are plenty of choices for experimentation.If you're not crazy about the taste of veggies, fruit juice like Acai juice will mask it. Also a chocolate protein powder with or without fruit juice will mask any veggie flavors. My wife can't tell when I mix kale, beets, carrots, spinach and a little acai juice with banana.If you like veggie flavor, go easy on other additives like fruit.Peel bananas and citrus before freezing. It's very hard to peel them when frozen. Peeled and put in a plastic bag they separate from each other easy enough as you need them.Look for other additives like maca powder and dried berries.Use coconut water instead of tap water. If you don't like the taste of coconut water don't worry. You can't taste it really unless your other flavors are very mild.Get into a morning routine. I get up and blend first thing. I make coffee while the blender is working. 10 minutes later, smoothie is made, coffee is brewing and I'm getting ready for work.If you're undecided which model to get, I recommend the 900W pro model. Strong enough to blend frozen fruit quickly. Grinds up the seeds of a raspberry if you let it run for a bit. The RX is too big in my view and the regular nutriblend, while good, doesn't have the power to quickly blend everything without extra thought or planning.

The product works great but Nutribullet has the worst customer service I've ever experienced. Purchased a new unit through Amazon and can't get it registered because this unit was manufactured in 2013 (3 years ago). Nutribullet told me the warranty had expired. This is a brand new unit. I've never dealt with such idiots. Can only imagine how much trouble it would be to get repairs done. Pissed off to say the least!

I bought this so-called "Nutribullet" from seller AtoZ in June 2015. 8 months later, one of the blade units had jammed and the other one is leaking. There's a burning rubber smell when it's switched on. I contacted the seller AtoZ because it was still under it's 1 year warranty - no reply from seller. I contacted nutribullet directly and they asked me for photos of various parts of the item. It turns out that this one is counterfeit - it's a pretty good looking rip off though! I will now contact Amazon for a refund.

Item is all that was expected. Excellent product.

this is absolutely immense!Forget spending £140 on diet plans, shakes etc its simple, get all recipes online use the nutribullet for the shakes/smoothies/soups and do cardio and boom!! Weight loss! Brilliant buy :)
