2 pillows from 1 vendor: 1 possibly real pillow and the other fake BEWARE!
I ordered a quantity of 2 queen pillows in a single order. Both came in Cuddledown vinyl zippered bags with rope handles--different sized bags, but the pillows were the same size, so I looked more closely at the bags: One had the Cuddledown label paper insert in the slot on the side of the bag, while the 2nd bag had nothing in the slot, and the 2nd bag showed signs elsewhere of sticker adhesive remnants in roughly rectangular shapes and had a more worn appearance. Interesting but so what? However, it made me look at the two pillows very closely--that's when things revealed themselves:PILLOW #1 had 6 tags. 2 tags were stacked on top of each other, and the remaining 3 (c thru d below) were also stacked together. The tags were as follows: a) A Cuddledown label with the 800 phone number b) The big content tag with appropriate contents/fibers indicated and the usual "Under penalty of law tag not to be removed except by consumer" warning; AND a similarly sized care tag. c) an OEX-TEX tag with colored thread.; d) a second small content tag (satin finish, black and white), e) a tiny tag with a single 6 digit code (presumably an item number? not sure)PILLOW #2 had NO labels--zero. On closer inspection, I saw a tiny triangular piece of tag remnant indicating someone had removed something (e.g. proving that it HAD had a tag/tags of some sort) and that's it.Remember, it is a violation of the law for anyone but the consumer to remove the standard consumer content tag on a new product, which this was sold as. AND they removed any other tags that were there as well, so what is this second pillow?BUT THERE"S MORE:I sew, and I closely examined the pillows--Pillow #2 was not sewn in the same way as Pillow #1. Specifically, pillow #1 had piping effect around all 4 sides. Pillow #2 had a piping effect only on 3 sides, and the 4th side was simply folded under and sewn. Clearly these pillows were not sewn with the same factory standards, and Cuddledown has tight standards--their economic success with their quality product and their pricing reflects that.AND STILL MORE:I placed each pillow separately on the same piece of foam core and centered the foam core board with pillow on a scale which measures (in ounces) up to 5 pounds. They weighed different amounts! The tags might be a fraction of that, but not all of it.LASTLY:I pinched the pillow contents, with pressure and "rolled" just a bit of the content between thumb and forefinger through the pillow covering. This is not "scientific", but I detected a smoothness in the content of the 2nd pillow that is consistent with man-made contents. This made me question if it had any down at all inside, but PERHAPS this last thought is colored by the demonstrable inferiority of the 2nd pillow. My Conclusion? Pillow 2 is a fake, AND someone either violated the law by selling a pillow as new with the Consumer Protection label removed, OR they sold a used pillow as new (but the finish on the fabric makes me doubt that--e.g. it does not appear to have the wear that rubbing a pillowcase against the pillow itself would yield). Buyer Beware!I hope this review helps someone identify what they have.

As Goldilocks Said, Juuust Right
I had super soft Duxiana down pillows for over 10 years and they had just lost all of their "oomph". My husband likes pillows with a little bit more support, but we both love down because we can shape it the way we like. I pulled the trigger on these, hoping they would not be too firm. Well, like Baby Bear's, these are juuuust right. I am surprised that I am actually sleeping better than on the Dux pillows, which is huge. One of the "tells" of a well made down pillow is how well the covers are made; they need to keep in the down, which is important so we don't have feathers pricking our faces. These are very well constructed and I expect them to last a long time. I also love that I can throw them in the wash a few times a year. Although these are pricey, they are an investment in my comfort for a place I spend 1/3 of my life. Highly recommended.

Fluffy turned to soggy
I have used this pillow for almost a year. At first, I loved it. It was fluffy and gave my tender head a sweet hug through the night. I could lay on my side, back or stomach and my pillow was great. Through time, it has become less and less fluffy. I can fluff it, but it doesn't stay that way. Sometimes I wonder if I'm even sleeping on a pillow. It seems like just a pillowcase. I was expecting it to last a lifetime. Or at least 10 years for the price I paid. My husband has the same pillow. He feels the same way. So it wasn't a fluke. I wouldn't spend $200 again on this pillow.

Medium is too puffy for my taste.
I love down pillows. This one is well made, the feathers don't poke out, and it is very stuffed. Very very stuffed. If this is a medium, then I would hate to see the firm. I think next time I would order a less "stuffed" pillow since this one is just a little too puffed up for me. There is no odd smell and doesn't make me sneeze.

I was very disappointed with these pillows
I was very disappointed with these pillows. It was a great extravagance that cost me more than my first bed, but I had slept on a Cuddledown pillow in Colorado recently and slept beautifully and had no neck problems. So I ordered two, thinking I deserved them! After only two uses (and I puffed them up after each use) the pillows were extremely flat and I had to fold the pillows in half just to get enough lift for my neck. I've returned the pillows and am now wondering if I should try and get a higher-volume fill or just give up. These were definitely not worth the expense!

Perfect pillows - not too soft, not too firm, just right
I'm mostly a side sleeper who got used to extra soft, loosely packed down pillows that were never quite right. I'd punch them to fluff them up, then either stack 2 or 3 or tuck my arm underneath to get the kind of support I needed to fall asleep. Just figured that's how pillows worked. Not anymore! These pillows are perfect; no punching, no stacking, no arm underneath (unless I want it for my own alignment, in which case the pillow molds around my arm too to prevent me from being too propped up). Queen size even makes it a great body pillow on nights when my husband is away and I can steal his. Saving up so I can order 2 more asap.

I feel like Goldilocks! this pillow is just right
I feel like Goldilocks! this pillow is just right! I alternate between side and back sleeping. This pillow has the right amount of loft and compression to make me comfortable in both positions. I had neck surgery last year and have not slept well, and after trying many different pillows, I decided to go big or go home so to speak. Really, if my health and comfort are at stake cost is not an option (considering what I spend on other stuff really..).Needless to say, I have and continue to have great nights sleep. Love this pillow, not too hard, not too soft, doesn't go flat, pretty perfect.

Too Firm For Me
I'm only giving this pillow two stars because it was too firm for me. After reading the reviews for the medium pillow and the soft version, I ordered the medium. It didn't have the "squish" factor that I prefer in my down pillows so I returned it and ordered the soft version. If you want a pillow that poofs up around your head when you lay down to sleep, order the soft one!

they really are wonderful to sleep on
While these are pricey, they really are wonderful to sleep on. I would be interested in trying the firm pillows, but cost prohibits being able to compare the two
