My wife actually ordered this by accident thinking it was beaded. It turned out to be woven threads and looks fantastic. We needed something to hang over a door to the backyard that the dogs would go through (they're kind of wimpy about that) and would keep the flies out. This screening method has been used in the tropics for years and it is very effective.We installed a curtain rod on the outside of the door and hung it outside. It is washable and even though it gets used a lot, it never tangles. My only criticism is it does hang up occasionally on things you might be carrying, or in my case, my watch. I would buy this again for the looks and function.

My master bathroom has 5 narrow windows, and while privacy is not a concern, I wanted something to soften the glare of naked windows without blocking the daylight or the view. These string curtains are perfect!! (I ordered total of 5 curtains - 1 per window; each package has 1 panel in it, and used pin-on drapery hooks rather than a rod to hang.)I like these so much that I got the longer version of the same for my living room (with very high ceiling). The longer string curtains were shipped from China rather than from Amazon and therefore it took a while to receive them, but they did arrive in perfect condition and I am equally happy with those.

I have a large entry way from dining room to living room and always felt it needed something. These string curtains are the something it needed. I was going to order them in white and changed my mind at the last minute. Im glad I did. The shade of blue adds quite a pop of colour. If you aren't afraid of colour.

Love these! They remind me of the fringe costumes we wore in dance recitals. The strands are straight and sturdy, no beads. They tangle a little at the ends but running my fingers through them like a comb fixes the problem. Beads would make it very difficult. I'm using them for a bird barrier. I haven't let him out of the cage to try them out yet, but I think they'll work just fine. Very pretty. I'm happy with this purchase.

Bought as a “curtain” for an open closet area in a casita. Ended up using as a “shower curtain” in that room. Can see through but gives some sense of cover in the open shower for my guests. And it looks very modern.

I think you just have to try them. I never know what's gonna work. I send them back often and refine my desires until I get the right thing.

It seems very well made, and since installing this, we haven't had a fly come inside, so it works.
