24 Pack Heavy-Duty 2.5" Swivel Caster Wheel Creeper Service Cart Stool Post Mount

The casters I received are a much better quality than the pictures.The image of the casters shows a very similar caster to the ones on the inexpensive shop stool I have. The original casters look like the image on the product page so I figured these would have to do because this is all that is available. When I received these new casters the upgrade was impressive. The first thing I noticed was the body of the casters was a totally different (much better!) shape. The wheels are a higher quality. the bearing rase is larger and the swage on the bottom of the shaft is much more substantial. This is where the old casters came apart. I can't see this happening with these new casters any time soon.

We bought these two and a half months ago to replace a wheel that broke on the creeper my husband uses to change the oil on our vehicles. I am super glad and grateful he is willing to do that, because I totally hate changing the oil on cars. With a passion. So, he only needed to replace one wheel. He said it was easy to do, there were no problems with installation, and is working fine thus far. Ours did indeed come red, and now we have five more spares in case something happens to the other creeper wheels ;) And I was pleased with this, because it was much cheaper then buying a new creeper.

Excellent replacement! All 4 of my SnapOn roll seat wheels decided to disintegrate one cold morning... After 20 some odd years I can understand. Wasn’t going to pay for another seat! These are perfect replacements! From reading all the other reviews, the old ones are going to be your worst problem... Lotsa WD40 and heavy vice grips will help. You may want to round out the holes with a sharp 3/8 bit. The new nut inserts are a tad bigger. Great product! Quick delivery!

Seems like a vast improvement over the casters that came on my mechanics stool. I have a 5 caster stool and decided to try these, glad I did. I would have given 5 stars but I don't know about longevity. They run smooth , turn easily and are stable. Description says it has a square base, mine came with a 14mm hex base, just like the picture shows, and it says a 5/16 by 5/8 stud, well the thread is metric 8 X 1.25. Not a problem for me but you might want to know that up front. I like them and would buy them again provided I get good wear from them. Hope this helps.

I accidently ran over my craftsman creeper backing off some ramps and tore up a couple casters so I was in search of a replacement set. These are 1/2" bigger than my old ones but fit perfectly and roll significantly better than the old ones (before I ran over them). They look and feel pretty solid. If you need some casters don't be afraid to pull the trigger and buy these.

Great replacement for the ones on my crafts man creeper that were splitting.These are designed to fit into a carriage bolt type square hole with no other way to hold the bottom for tightening, but I was able to get them sufficiently tight without issue.

Junk! The mounting stud is not attached to the top bearing plate. The stud goes up through the bottom plate and presses the two plates together when tightened. The wheel won't swivel because of this. I ended up using Loctite on the threads and leaving it loose enough so the wheel will swivel. Don't buy.

The original casters on my Big Red creeper were cheap junk, these appear to be slightly better, but not by much. I guess for the price they are OK though my NAPA creeper my wife got me in the early 1970 is still on the original casters with no sigh of wear.
