Avedis Zildjian Company18" K Crash Ride

Its a K Zildjian, do I need to say anything else other than that? No. This cymbal has nice ride qualities but it's more a crash than anything the way I use it in heavier rock music. It is extremely versatile and worth every penny. You're gonna want to pull the trigger on this one.

You're always going to loose something in a crash-ride cymbal, but this is probably the best compromise you will find. Decent ride and crash sound for a ride-crash. I always liked the Zildjian sound. Right now I am playing electronic drums with this as my one real cymbal along with several digital ones.

I just got this cymbal yesterday and it is a beauty. I wanted to cry when I first heard myself played it. Very dark. Very nice, low crash like sounds. When it is played like a ride it has a smooth, but heavy feel. I am in love with this cymbal. Definately worth the price. Very satisfied.

Replaced the original broken one on the drum set....

Most modern 'crash/ride' cymbals seem to excel at being a crash or a ride, but not both. This one can perform either task well and is one of the better ones on the market. In fact it reminds me of my ride back in 1964 which performed both tasks with equal facility.This cymbal is in the lower fundamental range, so while it will not have strong attack it will fit perfectly in most mixes. As a ride there are over and under tones, but you can still get a degree of stick definition too. Not a ping that some styles of music call for, but each note will stand out and not be overwhelmed by the wash.The bell is sufficient for most styles of music. It is not the strongest or loudest one I have played, but if you lay into it you will cut through some loud playing.As a crash this one opens fast and decays at a moderate rate, making the sustain somewhat long. You can choke it by grabbing the edge after striking to kill the sustain. You can also get nice accents from this cymbal when riding it. I will somethings accent with my shank to get a nice burst from it.Overall this is a great multi-purpose cymbal for either a left side ride or the only cymbal (other than hi-hats) in a stripped down kit like the  Ludwig Breakbeats by Questlove 4-Piece . It's one of the very few modern cymbals I have played that is a true crash/ride.

Beautiful cymbal but. Wasn't well packed. The box was twice the size.... Full of air. Slight damage to cymbal and scratches not good for the amount I paid.

Teniendo en cuenta lo que puede ocasionar un golpe en el transporte y el precio que tiene, venia muy poco seguro,en una bolsa metida en un a caja,sin mas.Tiene unas pequeñas marcas de fabrica, a quizas en el martilleado, imagino de ahi el dto que tenia el plato.Espero no afecte a su futura durabilidad.El sonido es el muy bueno a mi parecer, lo único que he notado,cd el volumen se apaga,sigue manteniendose un armonico, no podria decir la exactamente su nota definida, curioso.

La serie K siempre es excelente, pero esperaba más de un crash ride, el ride no me ha convencido, tiene el ping seco y oscuro de los K, pero la campana está fuera del rango del plato. Como crash funciona bien como un K 18, pero esperaba poder usarlo de segundo ride junto al sweet de 23 que tengo y no casan en absoluto. Para jazzear y hacer pings y bell, mejor la serie Sweet K.

Sul piatto niente da dire, ottimo crash pesante ( ma neanche troppo) e ottimo anche cone ride leggero per contesti musicali ridotti, peccato per il packagin di zildijian che è praticamente inesistente ( solo una busta di platica) peccato anche perchè è stato evidentemente maneggiato con mani nude, e appena arrivato già aveva 2-3 ditate evidenti, dato il costo mi aspetto almeno una scatola ufficiale zildijian e che sia nuovo di pacca

Bonjour. Assez rares le tout en un. Le crash est explosif beau halo et sustain..Le côté Ride est légèrement plus profond dark avec un beau ping je recommande (les baguettes en érable SD2) pour une 18" qu'une A en 20 pouces la sonorité de la cloche plutôt "grosse" est splendide ! conçu+pour le Jazz. Latin/Jazz. Fusion Blues léger.. Reggae 🇯🇲 cette fois pas d'erreur🙃sur la référence du produit excellent merci!😉
