Temp control in a bucket
Works great. I drilled a hole in my fermentation bucket lid and use it for temp controller. Bought a second one.

No backing nut or O-ring.
No backing nut or o-ring. So if you’re trying to mount this to a brew pot, you’ll need to find a nut and O-ring for it. Everything else seems to be very well-made. I’m just disappointed I didn’t look at the description better

Probe doesn’t fit
DS18D20 probe doesn’t go all the way into it (the internal diameter reduces as you insert the probe) resulting in inaccurate readings.

The clamp is great but temp is inaccurate.
Probably my fault for not doing research. I wanted to use this with my Bluetooth grill sensor so I didnt have to watch my mash boil. The clamp that comes with the thermowell is nice for holding the thermometer in place. Just be aware that the temperature is not accurate at all. It's about 12 degrees off.
