Can i use this instead of a plaster.?

Alfasilver settles on the skin as a dry covering. The silver ions are supposed to promote healing. Used on sores or scrapes it works well. I cannot say how it would stand up to bleeding. It would not stop bleeding or offer protection as a plaster would.
