This 1×8-pixel stick provides an excellent arrangement of WS2812B RGB smart LEDs for use in any electronics project. The array pattern of individually controlled LEDs allows us to to create incredible lighting displays for data visualization, status indication, and many more tasks! These sticks are 6×45mm in size and carry 8 ultra-bright WS2812B LEDs. We include a pair of the standard JST connector (1 male and 1 female) so that you can connect multiple sticks in a row, or even other WS2812B products such as our rings or flexible strips! We also include a 3-pin header so that you can mount it unto a breadboard. Each LED is positioned at an equal distance from the two adjacent LEDs.Features:6×45mm black PCB PCB carrying 8 ultra-bright WS2812B RGB LEDs Hard, black PCB (1.6mm) with 4 pins on each side for 5VDC, GND, Data In, and Data Out 1×Female-Male Pair of JST-SM Wires and 1×3-pin header included Multiple sticks can be interconnected using the included 3-pin JST connectors (soldering required)Fully addressable LEDs allow for individual control of color and brightnessCompatible with Adafruit NeoPixels LEDsWe have written useful guides for getting you started with creating fantastic lighting animations: ESP8266: http://learn.acrobotic.com/tutorials/post/ws2812b-rgb-led-neopixels-with-esp8266

Couldn't Find Instructions
The Youtube web site listed has some great tutorials. However, I could not find the simple explanation of the wiring! So, FYI, get out your soldering iron:Red: +5vBlue: Data in or outWhite or Yellow: GroundThe one I received was two inches long and wonderfully bright.

Perfectly bright and vivid colors
Worked perfectly with my RP3 robot. Arrived two days after placing order without amazon prime. The included headers and 3-pin wiring harness (one male and one female) was nice to have but I used my own jumpers to connect to the RP3. These LEDs are very bright with vivid colors.

A gift for my son.
My son wanted this, so I can't say anything about how it works, but he wouldn't have wanted it if it wasn't a good product.

Very small, but extremely bright
Beware, this product is extremely tiny! Longer than a quarter, but not by much. However, they are extremely bright, which is something I found to be surprising. If you, like me, were looking for a library to control these and how to solder and wire them up , I found the instructions in another user reviews at: https://www.amazon.com/Adafruit-NeoPixel-Arduino-Integrated-Drivers/dp/B00IEDH26K/ref=pd_cp_86_2?pd_rd_w=Z8FCZ&pf_rd_p=ef4dc990-a9ca-4945-ae0b-f8d549198ed6&pf_rd_r=K0FJVXJZ9NNQ14TPMZXZ&pd_rd_r=b292c294-e650-42ed-a698-209643467f6e&pd_rd_wg=coTEi&pd_rd_i=B00IEDH26K&psc=1&refRID=K0FJVXJZ9NNQ14TPMZXZEnjoy!
