I’ve had it for a year now, and I love this stereo. Great power and great sound, and it’s very easy to use. I love the apple car play option, I use it every day for navigation, and for listening to podcasts and music on Spotify and Pandora. Definitely the best car stereo I have owned, especially for the price.

I have been buying Pioneer audio components for over 40 years. I have never been disappointed.These are great units. Bought this for the wife's Sequoia. Sound is incredible and features are top notch. She loves it.I have a 2500NEX in my car and couldn't be happier. You can't go wrong with Pioneer.

So two things I didn’t like: You need to either wire this thing to the parking break or a bypass to access all the user settings (the big one was adjusting the backup camera guidelines). If you’re dumb enough to watch movies while you’re driving you’ll want a bypass as well, but please don’t be that dumb.I didn’t realize how limited Spotify is through the stereo. You can do a lot of things, but there is zero search function unless you either use your phone to type or rely on Spotify’s junk voice search. I listen to a ton of different things so the recently played and favorites don’t work as well for me as they could.That said I would still give this unit. 9.5/10 based on the integration with Siri/Apple Maps/and even Spotify. The microphone provided always works well with my “Hey Siri” commands, I’ve had full text conversations with my subordinates at work when necessary using the voice totext function in Apple CarPlay. And I love the dash since the recent update.

Very nice system, great sound, crystal clear video picture. Be sure to purchase the brake bypass so your passenger can watch a movie while you drive. Oh, and it comes with a remote. I should have read up on it though before I bought it because I was disappointed to find I could not access the Waze or Google Maps on the screen using my android phone. The navigation system was the reason I selected this particular model. I would have given it 5 stars if that feature worked. I hear everything works great with iPhones. Either way, it is an upgrade from my factory system. I am still learning what it can do. I added the backup camera, too. Good purchase.

We purchased this for use in our RV because we didn't have a way to play CDs or radio with the unit that came with our motor home. This is a great unit and works very well. We now find that we'd like to add a couple extra speakers into the cab of our motor home because the sound is not very good, but we now have the option to use Apple CarPlay, which we didn't have before. I can set a gps destination on my phone and it'll display on the screen of the devise. That's so helpful when we're traveling. My husband installed this himself and said it wasn't difficult.

I bought this unit for my 2017 Camry. I also purchased the Crux SWRTY-61N which is a top of the line interface cable. The installation instruction for this radio is just horrible. It is extremely confusing and at places wrong. After watching multiple U-Tube clips and reading the manual multiple time, I connected the harness and installed the radio. Most of the functions worked but no FM radio. So, I called Pioneer technical support. This woman answered the phone and claimed to be technical support. Needless to say she had no clue what I was talking about. She kept me on the phone for a long time, appeared to be reading some manual or something. After about 45 minutes on the phone she told me that I needed to buy an antenna interface. I told her that I had an antenna interface. Then she said that they did not support the interface cable. And, finally said that I needed to take it to a professional installer. Needless to say O have a degree in electrical engineering and have installed tens of car radios. I ended up experimenting with multiple different wire connections and finally got it to work. I must have spent at least 15 hours working on this thing. My suggestion is that if you can find an alternative after market radio for your car, stay away from Pioneer.Update - 2/6/2021. I have now had this radio for over a year. The radio has not failed and still works. I primarily wanted this unit to be able to use Carplay for navigation and other apps. The Carplay works fine and when I connect my iPhone to the unit via the USB port, it comes on the display. However, there are a couple of other major problems with this unit. First, the unit does not have any knobs and when you want to control the volume you have to use the steering wheel buttons, which is ok. But, there is no knob for changing radio stations either and you have to use the touch screen to change the FM radio frequency to go to another station. A second major deficiency with this unit is that labels on the buttons on the head unit are so small, you cannot even see them in daylight let alone at night. So, when you want to switch from Carplay to the head unit say to change the radio channel, you cannot see the button labels.
