Save yourself the expense
I swithered between purchasing these or a much cheaper pair of 30cm "normal" scissors such as the Coral 56600 (ASIN: B071YT32NR) or the Silverline 793756 (ASIN: B000LFRRVY) both of which are about £4.In the end I decided to purchase all three pairs and compare them, as I need a few pairs anyway, and unfortunately these expensive pizza scissors are the biggest disappointment of the bunch.Don't get me wrong; the build quality and the quality of the steel seems good, but they just don't cut pizza all that well. The advertised length of 30cm isn't really accurate because of the angled bend in the blades. The angle didn't add any value or easiness when using the scissors. The dual-gear system didn't help with cutting force at all. In fact I actually found it a bit more awkward to cut pizza from above rather than straight-on with normal scissors. The one advantage these have over other scissors is that they come apart easily for cleaning, although my normal kitchen shears have survived just fine without this feature.Ultimately I recommend getting a standard pair of 30cm wallpaper scissors instead.I would give them 2.5 stars if I could but I'm rounding it down to 2 stars simply because the alternatives are so much cheaper and perform even better than these.

Ten times better than a roller.
These are amazing and the envy of all who have seen them in action. Great product.

Easy to use but they keep falling apart
These pizza cutting scissors have their good and bad points. They do a good job of cutting thin crust pizzas and it is certainly a lot easier than using a knife which can damage your plate or work surface. However, they are very large and this makes storing them a bit of hassle, but the main problem is they are built in two separate parts that come apart too easily. Now I understand that they are designed this way to allow you to clean them thoroughly, but if you open the blades too wide to use them, the two sections fall apart. Fitting them together again involves interlocking two fiddly metal bits which is a real pain as this has happened every time I've used them.Overall I would say that these do a good job of cutting pizza so I give them 4/5 stars.I hope you find this helpful.

Fantastic for quickly cutting any pizza
I gave up on pizza roller cutters a long time ago because they just don’t work if your plate or surface isn’t entirely flat and they’re a pain to clean. Until now I’ve used kitchen scissors but find they are difficult to use once you hit the middle of a hot large pizza, burning your hand. These pizza scissors solve this by being angled so your hand is always above the pizza. They’re also much sharper with a saw-like blade to better cut through dough. The cutting action is really easy and makes short work of both thin and thick crust pizzas. I had to cut three different ones yesterday as we had friends around and this managed to do the job in seconds. They’re also easy to clean and come with a plastic cover for the blades to keep them safe when storing.

Amazingly work really well
I was sceptical when I took these as I've used a cheap, basic pizza roller for years and never really thought there could be an alternative and when I saw these Pizza Scissors they amused me, as if they were a novelty joke item but then I thought they might actually be useful so decided to give them a try. These are very long and sharp scissors, angled appropriately to enable them to lift the pizza off the plate while you cut without you having to physically hold it up. I'd imagined they could be quite awkward and weird to use but they actually make light work of it and I'm impressed with the sharp precise action. Every slice is separated well and are suitable for any sized pizza. They also come apart for cleaning so no worries of congealed cheese clogging them up!Recommended for pizza lovers, definitely an unusual gift for someone and something i'd never heard of or used until now and it does make a difference!

Big, sharp and fun to use.
These are very large scissors, you may have trouble fitting them in a normal cutlery drawer. They are very sharp too.Cutting pizza is a joy with these, and much easier than using a wheel if the pizza is not on a completely flat surface. The design means they don't quite meet up a the end as tightly as they do closer to the handles, but for pizza that's fine. If you try to cut paper or card you'll only be able to use them up to half way down. I did have trouble cutting through a pepperoni slice with the tip of the scissors though. The handles can be opened up and dismantled for easy cleaning, although this feature is probably why they are a little bit more loose a cut than say wallpaper scissors of a similar length.Overall very comfortable to use and I'll certainly be using them again and again.

Amazingly they are great.
I've never heard of pizza scissors before and I was pretty sure that they would be a gimmick and something to use once and relegate to the back of the utensil drawer. But I was wrong because when I pulled these out my children thought that I was crazy but they actually work really well. No more base that hasn't quite been cut through, you will now have perfectly cut pizza slices and for fun, you can easily cut them into different shapes, although these are big so you won't be able to do anything intricate but if your kid wants a heart-shaped slice then this will do that fo you. It is a shame that these are quite so big as I do struggle to get them into my drawer but apart from that I cannot fault these pizza scissors.

Best pizza cutter ever!
These scissors are perfect for cutting pizzas. Mine is a pizza lover family and we have pizza every week. Uptill now I was using big knife to cut the slices, I have even used the rolling pizza cutter before. But most of the time the slices were stuck and had to be ripped with hands. These scissors has made the slicing is easy and everything's you get a free slice. The are made of stainless steel and angled to lift the pizza up and give a cut. You can even give cut the pizza slices in any shape you like, specially for kids. The scissor blades are very sharp and they are pointy at the tips. I would suggest to keep it safe, away from the children. They easily come off making it very easy to clean. I am not going back to knife or roller, this is my life long pizza cutter.
