My 5th grade son loved the first book, Lawn Boy. He had to read a book for school AR Points, so he chose the follwoup book. He hates to read, but he liked this book. Anyone that can make my son read must be commended.

Truly a good book
It makes you want to keep turning pages it was hard to stop reading before bed and when I did I had dreams about what would happen next.

We ordered this for our "economics/finance" study for homeschool and we loved it. The kids thought it was fun and funny and we had lots of good talks about real life and money. It brought up plenty of questions and raised their interest in financial matters without boring them. I highly recommend the book "Whatever Happened to Penny Candy" for a more complete, but also fun, way to teach economics.

we read both books and students enjoyed and learned about the key financial concepts
I strongly believe in teaching financial literacy in my classroom. At the end of the school year, we read both books and students enjoyed and learned about the key financial concepts.

Best book I've ever read.
This book, is the best book I've ever read. Most of the books I've ever read before, is by Gary Paulsen. But this book, stands far-out from every book. I dislike reading very much, and I never want to start a one. But when I finish one of Gary Paulsen's books, I don't know how I don't read them more often.
