Hot Spot Spray for Dogs & Cats - Chlorhexidine Spray - Skin and Coat Treatment with Ketoconazole Aloe to Manage Ringworm, Itching Skin Relief, Yeast Infection, Allergies, Acne

This spray + shampoo has been a godsend. Our poor Shihtzu has been having issues with a potent smell for a while. After many vet appointments, blood work, antibiotics, steroids, and usually an ear infection diagnosis + high bills, I was ready to throw in the towel and almost got rid of my dog because I have a high sensitivity to smells and my house just stunk all the time. She was lethargic and hardly ate anything. Decided to put all her symptoms into google and, while I’m not a vet and it is not recommended to go solely by what Dr. Google says (but it seems to have a better solution than our vet.), it is possibly seborrhea. I immediately went on amazon for the solution - if not a cure, at least some relief and symptom control. Based on reviews, I took a chance on this brand and I am so glad I did. While I’ve only used the shampoo twice and the spray a handful of times, it’s been a vast improvement. The smell stays under control for a few days and the lethargy and itching have pretty much disappeared. I am bathing her once a week and started using the spray once daily. I spray it on her skin, then comb it through, which sloughs off the flakes and dead skin (picture of flakes on floor post spray/combing attached) and loosens any of the gooey, smelly wax-like substance. Her skin looks 90% better - wish I’d taken a before picture, the one attached is after two shampoos and twice a week sprays (about two weeks later). I just signed up for monthly delivery.Only complaint is the pump on the spray bottle can be difficult if spraying large areas, especially when dealing with an uncooperative pet. The flow tends to slow down and can only spray right-side up.

My Pitbull Beefy has been always had bad allergies and yeast between his toes. He is constantly chewing his feet to the point where he makes himself bleed. I was desperate to find something that would help him. I read the reviews on this product and they were all positive and I thought I would give it a try. After a couple days I noticed that he wasn’t chewing on his feet nearly as often and his condition was improving a lot! After even more time the results seemed to get better and better. He seems to be much more comfortable and much happier! I also used the spray on my English Bulldog who has had some skin irritation on his back. It really soothed the area and improved the irritation very rapidly. I would definitely recommend this product!

The product came quickly. My dog has severe skin allergies and takes Benadryl daily but she still ends up with hot spots from scratching. This product has helped. It has made the redness and swelling go down. She scratches at them less. Hopefully the longer we use it the better it will get. Haven’t used it long enough to give five stars but so far so good

Our dogs hate taking baths. This spray was a great go-to for freshening them up, and allowing us to prolong the frequency of bath time. We also have a dog who has allergies, and this would help clear up hot spots that he may have. It cleared up within a day or two. Due to one of our pups having severe allergies, this was great to spray on his paws to clear up from the constant licking, helping to prevent fungal and yeast infections on the paws. I will be buying this again. It’s been a saving grace.

UPDATE: The company did respond to my complaint, and did an immediate refund of my money. And again, my Vet did feel my cat's reaction to the product , which they had used and felt confidence in, was an exception to th rule. (Orig comment: Within half hour of treatment my cat was vomiting blood. She had a little bit of mange but had not been sick at all... Although I withheld treatment after this, she continued to throw up liquids and stopped eating and pooping. At visit at the vet confirmed that this kind of product is often used successfully for what I was treating, but that some cats can't tolerate it. She recovered okay. The company did not answer my phone calls and messages. Disappointed in their lack of response.)

This product worked beautifully for my dog. His allergies are so severe he is on Apoquil year round. Despite this prescription, he still has flair ups sometimes. This product takes away the terrible itchiness and helps his skin heal. Since I’ve been using this, he has not gotten skin infections or a full blown hot spot. My dog actually comes up to me and turns around when he needs this sprayed on his back above his tail where his allergies show out badly!

The Antiseptic Spray is working great for my cat. He tends to get wounds regularly and this helped tremendously with the healing process.

Couldn't wait to try on Rottie; it was a day late to start with and when I opened the package, the bottle was out of the broken box, and spray attachment was laying in the bag. We immediately wiped dog down and towel dried as per instructions on box. When I sprayed it on, we both became somewhat nauseous, but kept on going, as we needed our boy to have relief. He has been getting baths twice a week, but arthritis in my shoulders has become worse and thought this would help me, as well as him. For as long as it has taken me to write this, he has been licking and chewing. Supposedly, they won't get sick from this, IF there is any left for him to lick off! Also, there is "sticky" feel to it, which according to the mfg. , it was supposed to get rid of that. It has only been 2 days since his bath; hair was not sticky, and brushing everyday, helped to keep loose hair and the "gummy" feel from happening. I can't believe this has caused such an immediate reaction; not sure that I even want to give it a fair trial! The smell is very overwhelming!
