Clic Magnetic Reading Glasses

Just impractical. The loop is of hard plastic. Was expecting something soft. Even with the sliding ear pieces fully extended, the loop is either snugged up against the back of my head or it's resting down on my collar and my collar pushes the lenses up on my nose distorting the view (this is while seated). It's worse if I'm wearing a hoodie or a jacket. The lens pieces don't always "CliC" like they should, often coming together unevenly and distorting the view. I have a normal 7 3/8 noggin, so we're not talking about a "hideous great heed" here. Might be worth $9 but surely not $30 that I paid. Like Nancy Reagan, just say no.

I'm on my second pair of these glasses, getting ready for my third; but I must do a little more thinking before making the purchase. The first pair lasted me close to three years and resulted in complete satisfaction until they broke. If you look closely at the frames there are small holes in them that allow the adjustable bands to click in place, probably where they got their name. It is these holes that weaken the frames and is where my first pair finally broke. My second pair has lasted less than a year, now broken at that same point. I suspected that this pair would not last as long as they felt more cheaply made than the first pair. Honestly, I want to like these glasses because of their convenience and lens quality. The lenses in my first pair cleaned up crystal clear even after three years of daily use and the lenses in my second pair seem to be as good. Perhaps if they would make a non-adjustable frame model I could more wholeheartedly recommend these things, but for the price I don't see the quality I expect. I may take another chance and buy a third pair since I like the glasses. On the other hand, I won't rush into it.

CLIC reading glasses are not that much better than having a string around your neck. I like the molded neck strap as the shape holds the glasses in place, keeps them from sliding off. I had no problem reading leaning back but my chair has a no pillow hitting hard in my neck....I thought the glasses would lay flat on my chest as it looked like that on TV when I saw someone wear them. However, they lay at a 90 degree angle to your chest. They often clic together on my chest by accident, and then it is a pain to get them on if I am wearing headphones.Headphone accommodation is one of the better aspects of these glasses. I wear full ear Bluetooth headphones riding my bike, and I have these hanging on my neck, and so far I have not lost them nor had them come close. I don't know about clear and all, mine got smeared and dirty right away from going over my sunscreen, fingerprints, etc.

Although this is adjustable in length, it does not adjust in width and is too narrow for my husbands head. Granted he does have a wide head. But be warned seller did not allow return for another size. Money wasted

I was on a ladder running wire through a ceiling when my glasses fell off. I was going to wait till I was finished to get them, but my co-worker came into the room and accidentally stepped on them (they were completely jacked). The piece of the frame bent where it meets the stem and the screw was stripped and difficult to get out, but when I got it out, AMAZINGLY the plastic bent back into shape with some needle nose pliers and even though the screw is stripped, it still holds very well to this day. I have had 2 pair of these and I will get more in the future. As an Electrician/Telecommunications technician, they are invaluable to me for reading blueprints and small print on wires and cables.I would recommend these to anyone, but especially those in the construction or medical fields.I also love that you can get them in your specific prescription and that you can customize them if you have multiple pair (I have clear frames on my old blue stem piece).

I guess I have a large head because the first pair I got was very uncomfortable, squeezing the sides of my head. After we cleared up a communication issue the owners were very supportive and quickly shipped me an XXL replacement pair with an adjustable back that fit much better. The optics are very good. I'll need to get used to them but I'll think they'll be great for my application at a telescope where I need to alternatively look through the eyepiece with no eyewear followed by reading charts and apps with fine print.

I would actually give the quality of these five stars, but how well they work for me three stars. I read it in the reviews but did not really appreciate it until I tried them myself. First, they take up a lot of space, you cannot fold them up, so where to put them when they’re not on can be a problem. Second, it takes two hands to put them on. So its handy to have them on your neck, but not handy to have to put down what you're doing to put them on. Third, they don’t automatically sit right when you put them on, you have to get them in just the right place on your head before you click them which can take some adjustment. So, in the end, although they are a good quality set of glasses, they’re just more work than a regular pair of readers.

I need these glasses to be more adjustable. Somehow. When I had them situated correctly behind my ears, the lenses hovered above my nose. After 15 minutes or more, pain set in on both sides of my head. If I put the arms of the glasses on the sides of my head on top of my ears rather than behind them, the lenses were correctly places in front of my eyes, but the part that rests behind my head sat awkwardly in the air.I am thinking that may I should just go back to using my chain or wear bifocals.
