I was worried with a one star review, but I took a chance. This lock works perfectly! I followed included instructions and it worked as it should.I subtracted one star because the pretty gold colored bezel was scratched. Most items come with a protective film to prevent scratches in transit, but not these people. Maybe it would have reduced their profit margin?The ad copy did not say, but I thought it would be reversible. I open the back and YES, it is reversible for left and right opening mechanisms, sweet.I have no input on longevity as I have not used it for long, but I do not foresee any issues.Overall, a good buy if you are upgrading a cheap safe or building one (I am pricing material now).

Couldn’t program am sending back

This is great lock it replace my original safe lock with no farther programming it’s plug and play . Don’t let lock smith fool you .snd you can use your original code with this new lock

This lock is frustrating and not worth the cheaper price. The lock itself is thicker than the original making the bolts too short to fasten it. This is the second lock..the first one would not work at all and this one is intermittent. I had to send it back too.

Installed the lock with no issues. works great for a quicker access to the guns in the safe. Will buy again to upgrade my wall safe.

the lock was used for a safe my husband converted for ammo, etc. Worked great.

Did not fit my safe even though it said it would. Was made cheaply. Would work but I’d save for a higher quality one.
