I am one of those unfortunate people that have a very bad bed hair, and because of that I've been going around searching for a good hat to cover it on casual days where I just want to go out for some quick take-out. I have gone to swapmeets, thrift shops, retail stores, and many other places searching for a simple military cap styled hat that would satisfy me. Unfortunately I wasn't able to find any until I decided to start shopping for it online. There are a lot of different styled military caps here on amazon from different sellers, but I chose this one because I preferred its simpler design and price. I wear this hat every other day, and I haven't found a single discomfort when I put it on. The hat fit snugly after I adjusted the strap in the back, and I don't have to worry about being a fashion terrorist due to the fact that the color black goes well with, well, practically everything. However it does attract a lot of hair from my dogs, which is expected because it's black.There are two tiny holes on the side of the cap that are for either ventilation or design (I'm not sure), but I'd go with design since the holes are very small. On hot days my head does get rather hot (it may be because I purchased the black one), but my eyes are constantly covered so I don't have to squint all the time. It also provides me with decent protection in the rain - I haven't seen any color changes/fading or anything of the like. Just looking at it, you cant even tell it's wet after you take it off (the water does start penetrating the fabric of the hat though, so I wouldn't recommend long sessions in the rain).And for those wondering about the rim, it's not a cardboard rim that will leave a bent mark after you bend it like with most cheap hats today. I cant tell what kind of material it is without peeling the thing open myself (which I wont be doing), but its a fairly bendy material and I feel like its quite durable and will last me a while.Overall, great hat for the price. Durable, comfortable, fashionable and simple, it's my go to hat every time I go out. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another.

I favor this style of cap and they aren't easy to find. I bought a few different ones on Amazon and this wins hands down. The velcro adjustment strap is well constructed and allows me to adjust over my ponytail when needed. My head is kind of small so many caps look stupidly large on me. This one is stylish, well-made, and comfy. Couldn't ask for more.

The hat itself fits well. Its soft and it doesnt bother my head. The strap in the back is velcro and holds well. The color however is NOT the same as the picture. In the picture the hat looks like a army green but the hat I received is olive green. I was still able to use it though. Wish they would change the picture to the accurate color because there is going to be another customer who is going to be looking for the same color on the photo they have as I did and receive a different color. Other than that, its a good hat. Be aware that the first few pictures I posted are taken with flash so it makes the hat look lighter than its actual color. The last picture I took without flash. The hat is a true olive green color.

Great hat, especially for the money.This hat is well made. There are no loose threads and all of the seams are taped. All aspects of the construction show quality workmanship.The hat fits well. It fits my 73/8 noggin just right and it could easily be adjusted several sizes up or down. It seems to be proportionally correct.The hat is made of good materials. The cloth is not stiff and is substantial. The color of the Velcro matches the hat perfectly.The hat has a certain panache. It simply looks cool. It is low profile and understated.It's a lot of hat for the money. Because it's made of cotton and so well put together, you would expect to pay more for this hat. (Why do some colors cost more?)As a final testament to the hat I have just order two more in different colors.I din NOT receive any compensation for this review. So if you like the looks of the hat, buy it with complete confidence.

Love this hat! I have a small head and its hard to find hats that aren't too tight or too big and adjustable. Also cute! I had Basil Cell Carcinoma , a type of cancer that covered most of the top of my head where it looks like Ive been scalped . I have to wear a hat or something loose, not too heavy if out in public or in the sun to protect my head . I have a couple hats I usually wear but they are getting worn down and I saw this one.Its hard to find hats that are fashionable, but convenient for me. They are usually too big or too heavy or just not adjustable. If they are too heavy or tight I easily get horrible headaches. I love it, its not too small like children's hats and the base still lets me show off the rest of my hair it doesn't engulf my whole head. I love the colors, blue is my favorite. Thank you for making a girl happy and feel good about herself.

This hat is a perfect fit for my ten year old son who used it as part his Halloween costume. It's durable and well made.

Nice hat, however not as deep as I thought. It feels like it sits on top instead of on my head. Other than that it's doable

Great quality! It's durable and fits perfect! I bought a similar hat but it wasn't as "square" on top. I'll be buying another color of this hat!

I bought this to replace a similar hat that my husband lost whilst on holiday. It's not identical, but very similar and he totally loved it. Took a while to arrive, but worth the wait.

My hairline requires me to wear a hat in the sun, my age, however, makes the solution somewhat difficult. Panama? Too difficult in the wind, too big to stow in the rucsac. Baseball cap? Nooooooo! This hat? Yes!! It is well made. It has a sensible sized peak, it folds into my pocket and looks smart when I put it on. IT ALLOWS OLD, BALD BLOKES TO LOOK PASSABLE IN THE SUN. Got it?
