I discovered this years ago when we battled with my daughter’s sensitive skin -eczema. Not only did it help her spots go away, it helped with the itching and making sure there were no scars.I have had the same jar for over two years and JUST ran out.Now- I was diagnosed with PUPPP (Pruritic urticarial papules and plaques of pregnancy), which was a terribly itchy rash- appearing like hives, on my belly. I tried so many different ointments and itch reliefs. Nothing worked. I thought about the Mother’s Balm and figured I’d try it.I have used it for three nights and my hives are completely gone, the redness is gone, the itchiness is gone- and rare, only if my skin gets dry from clothes.I have always said I was a believer in this stuff for the sake of my daughter’s skin- but now me too? I’m blown away.

My hope was it would help my brothers eczema. Instead it didn't help at all. Just not for him.

I have pigmented purpura, a type of what I've been told is an autoimmune problem. Often, I develope red splothes, mostly on my shins, that itch to the high heavens. Not to mention my legs look awful. The dermatologist said there really isn't anything to do & scripted out steroid cream - but trying to avoid constant steroid use. The Mother's Healing Balm seemed like a good product to try. So far, it's hard to tell simply because in summer months I tend to do better. The one splotch at about ankle area, is really red but not overly itchy. That's the spot that I've been applying the balm. It isn't itchy and my skin appears to be moisturized well, which will help. Can't say I really pick up any scent. I think this would be better to try in the winter when both shins are flared and co-workers yell at me to stop scratching. I don't even realize I'm doing it, so anything that may help and still avoid a steroid, I'm willing to try.

I have been using this on my skin for over a year. I self diagnosed myself with something like psoriasis. I had redness on my face and neck. My arms were very scaly. I was self conscious and grew tired of people asking "what's wrong with your neck-why is it so red?" After using this salve I got instant relief. I use it daily and have no more problems. I had tried many things-cortisone and tar-but they did not help, I highly recommend it. No more redness and scaling.

I have eczema prone skin, and when coupled with the dry weather and the hot summer sun, my eczema has been flaring up. I was looking for a natural alternative to hydrocortisone and came across this balm and decided to give it a try. When I opened the attractive round glass jar, the first thing that hit me was the pungent herbal smell of the balm. I personally don't mind it too much, but I'm a little self-conscious that it will make me smell like Bengay (though the smell dissipates rather quickly). After a few minutes, this balm soothed some of the itchy spots on my skin, and the irritation calmed down. My primary complaint is that the waxy substance is difficult to scoop. I have to constantly rub the balm to obtain a small smear on my finger, or I have to use one of my facial mask spatulas to scrape it off, and then really break down the waxy substance in order to rub it in. It's a bit annoying and time consuming, so I haven't been as diligent about applying this on. I'd love it if there was a cream version of this product. Other than that, so far, I'm liking the balm and will have it around this season.

No change in my eczema

My 9 year old has eczema all over and I have tried so many things for him, even prescription. This stuff really works it’s only been a few days and it’s amazing, he can finally sleep all night without waking up and digging and scratching his face and skin. It doesn’t burn him either and I love the lavender smell. I will definitely be buying this again, my son may have breakouts but that’s just the way eczema is. But this really helps and I’m buying again

This balm has wonderful anti-inflammatory effects, and is thus far the most effective eczema product we've used. It's also great at reducing pain and itchiness (but does not cause any numbing effects like straight up hemp oil). This balm is also very moisturizing and doesn't clog pores. I've gone through 6 jars of this for my infant daughter's and husband's eczema, which always flares up in the winter time. I highly recommend trying this balm for anyone suffering with eczema and/or inflammation.
