B&M70391 Cast Aluminum Deep Transmission Pan for Chevrolet Camaro SS Automatic Transmission

Great trans pan, should help out nicely.

Purchased this for my GT/G8 and fit perfectly. I wanted the extra fluid capacity and this did the trick. Holds about 2 extra qts and makes me feel better when i'm out terrorizing the Camaro and SS guys.Ground clearance was a concern but it sits about the same as my headers. no scraping...not worried. I have stock height suspension. lowered guys might want to check i suppose.As for their claim in keeping temps down, I have some reservations. a few times after a few "hot" runs, trans temp shot up to 201, from 180 and stayed there for the entire time, approx 1hr. Did not drop back to my normal temp of 180-190 until i shut her off for about 30 min.

I just installed this Trans pan on my 09 Pontiac G8.. It says that it dosent fit but it does and it fits perfect. I belong to a G8 forum that's how I found out that it would fit. This is a Great part made by B&M High quality all the way. Very clear instructions. My car took almost 9Qt of fluid with this pan. I also used the B&M dip stick for the 6L80 Trans. That is really good when it comes time to refill after you drop the pan.
