ArmorMason Upgraded Silicon Gel Ear Cups Compatible with Peltor Comtac Headsets

I bought these in 2020 to replace the factory 3M cups on my Comtac 3's. I use this hearing protection for competition shooting sports. These were never as good as the original 3m cups. They never sealed quite good enough around my ears, and I was often concerned about the level of protection I was getting out of them. More often than not, I would wear foam plugs underneath these to make it comfortable. This has been bothering me for years, because we're not talking about cheap earpro here. So I ordered a new set of gel cups from 3M. With the new set, they seal better and I don't require double plugs when shooting up to 50BMG outdoors. The Armorwerx are a bad idea. Spend the extra couple bucks and protect your ears by getting the 3M.

This product is great it's just the name of it isn't right. There not the 3m peltor like you guys will expect. There actually the ZTac brand. They still do the job just fine an still an upgrade to make your head set more comfortable.

You don't get nearly the same seal around your ears as the 3m. The 3m are a lot more dense and worth the extra $. I wear earpro 50% of my day and these are certainly lacking quality compared to the oem ones.

The plastic was extremely brittle. The rim that clips in to the headset broke instantly when I tried to install. Also, comparing the non broken side to the original, this replacement looks bigger than the original design by a couple mm.

HORRIBLE item!!! I had the items less then two months, and the gel seal started leaking on BOTH sides, the gels squeezed out of the pad leaving my hearing exposed and a mess all over my work attire! But they are telling me that it is too late to return them, save you money.

These are trash, they don’t sit in the Comtac iii like they’re supposed to. They pop out at random. Since they’re not secure they don’t block the DB like they should essentially rendering $600 contacts useless.

Very happy with fit, comfort and noise reduction. Easy to change out on the 3M Peltor Sport Tactical muffs I use.

A great protective case as an added bonus!
