"Value" showerproof hooded jacket.
One of the very cheapest showerproof jackets on Amazon, it feels quite well put together, the seams, zips, velcro and toggle pulls are are all finished off quite well and when used work OK at keeping out the worst of the weather. I'm not sure it how it will stand up to intensive use, but from a couple of weeks daily wear in mixed conditions (mild/wet and occasionally windy), the outer jacket material doesn't feel very robust, but it is a lightweight jacket, and even if you spent 5 or ten times what this cost you may find you get the same feel.Storage is very limited, so if you like to carry a lot of stuff with you in your jacket, this one is not for you. It has one smallish inside zipped pocket, with space for a small wallet, and two smallish outer zipped pockets that hold even less, a phone and a few lightweight odds ands sods is about the limit (also one of these outside pockets is much smaller than the other). You won't find space for an OS map or an A6 sized book anywhere in this jacket. The jacket doesn't have any ventilating flaps/holes, so even though it has a very lightweight netting lining, walking in the rain in moderate temperatures (15-20 C ) will get you hot and sweaty quite quickly.Overall a decent value jacket for occasional use that will keep you dry in moderate conditions.Budding "Bear Grills" should look elsewhere.Update 20/05/2022: the main zip, under-arm sleeve/jacket body seam and the larger, outer pocket liner all failed just before and after a year from purchase. The main zip and the sleeve seams are weak points, I crammed a bit too much into that bigger outer pocket, because the other outer pocket was so tiny. Liked the jacket enough enough to get it repaired, which will cost more than price when buying new. I downgraded to ** from ****, as the main zip and seam shouldn't have gone like they did. Apart from the defects listed, the fabric shell and inner still look good cosmetically. Just very annoying that for want of maybe £10 more on materials/stiching, this would be destined for the bin after only a year.Oh, and even when new, the pockets are not rainproof - in heavy rain, the contents will get damp.

Lightweight jacket
I was looking for a lightweight waterproof jacket and as my Wife had purchased a Parka style coat from Trespass I decided to go with this company as she loves her coat.Firstly the colour is lovely, burnt Orange, and it is suitably lightweight with just a mesh inner lining. How it stands up to heavy rain i am not sure but my Wife's coat has not leaked yet.I am a 42 inch chest and the large, 41-43 fit perfectly. This jacket is slightly longer than I thought it would be which is a good thing and I think the pockets are large enough.I am happy with this jacket. Just a few niggles with the stitching being not quite finished perfectly in a few small places and a couple of very small marks on it but nothing major and the quality is good if not perfect but the reason for the 4 stars.

It’s actually waterproof!!
I was looking for a good value, breathable, lightweight, decent quality waterproof jacket and I’m not disappointed. Great value for money and has already kept me dry in some atrocious conditions. It’s not padded/ insulated, but that’s not what I was looking for, there are plenty of alternatives out there for warmth. I’d definitely recommend this, I’ve tried loads of this type of jacket over the years and this one has so far been the best by far. As it’s actually waterproof!! Always a good start, but surprising how many are not.

Excellent, well made, waterproof windcheater
Great insurance against inclement weather and sudden downpours.Good wind breaker qualities. Easy-to-use toggles and straps in all the right locations for a snug fit.Plenty of waterproof pockets.Great weight, durability and function in a very balanced product. This is a great piece of kit when crossing terrain quickly. It's light in your pack and does what you need it to when you get caught out.You can easily pay alot more and get alot less for your money

Great looking coat
Really nice coat, not much like the colour shown, but still looks good.Fits really well and my hubby is happy with the coat. Not so good... Lots of loose threads and around the zip poor stitching, however once trimmed looks fine. Just poor quality control really.

Feels like quality, performs well
This is exactly what I wanted. It packs up small, fully waterproof, good pockets and closures/adjusters.This is a waterproof shell. You need stuff underneath it to provide insulation. This keeps wind and rain out.I have tested it in extreme conditions.Cycling in heavy rain with a 45 mile an hour side wind.No ingress except from dripping off my face and down my neck and no coat can stop that.Lovely burnt orange colour.Feels classy.Would recommend

Nice waterproof jacket
Really nice waterproof jacket at a great price. I chose the M and it fits brilliantly, i am very broad and muscular so i was glad of the perfect fit.I use this jacket for mountain biking and it is perfect for doing so out on the muddy and wet tracks, and in light rain it works. I think this jacket will work in heavy rain too. I bought the jacket and trousers together, because with all the recent rain lately i realised i needed to buy some good, useful kit to keep me dry, tried them both out today and i came home dry so I think it suits my purpose quite sufficiently and i'm very happy with my purchases. Burnt Orange is a great colour too.
