Great amp with a tiny footprint
I really like Dayton products. I was shocked at the footprint - I did not expect it to be so small. The remote is simple to use. Bluetooth connectivity is simple and the range is about what I expected. I am running outside speakers on our deck with this amp located in the family room, with about 100' of speaker cable. Also have a separate Dayton active sub connected via a Bluetooth dongle. Plenty of volume, though I have this turned up to 90% most of the time and then control volume via the source (phone from someone in the house). I used the bass control to remove quite a bit of boominess from the sound, and fill up the bottom end using the sub with its lowest pass crossover setting -- just my personal preference for a cleaner sound. Treble is turned up a few notches and I have Loudness turned on. I have not had a need to try any of the pre-set equalizer settings. Would definitely buy this again.

Excellent Little Amplifier
I was so surprised at how small this unit is for all the features it has. So far, it has played BT, Aux and Optical inputs, flawlessly. There are several ways to tailor the music to your taste with loudness, as well as 6 preset equalizers. If that weren't enough, you can boost or decrease Bass and Treble. My only gripe is that there is no way to power the unit off or on without the remote. Other than that, it was exactly what I was looking for!!

I want to give this five stars...but
I will get right point of what would otherwise be a fantastic amp...my problem with getting high quality audio out of it. After receiving the Sony WH1000XM3 headphones for Christmas this year I decided it was time to pony up for a Tidal premium streaming service. With that service you get high quality audio at 96K. However, I can't get the DTA-Pro to play back that bit rate. The front of the amp has six indicator LEDs that displays what the quality of input it is receiving and sadly, it always displays 48K. The LED showing 96K never even flickers. I have tested this in two common ways, bluetooth streaming (from a Galaxy Note 8) and strait from the phones 3.5 jack. I have confirmed that I'm receiving a 96K signal (and therefore sending one to the DTA-Pro) via earstudio's ES100 DAC. I have not yet tried to see if feeding audio from a computer would work (I'm sure it would) but that was never what I intended to use this amp for.So, should you buy this amp? Yes, if you are like most and have one of the many other non HD music streaming services. This is a solid amp but for me comes up short.

Defective Right Channel Audio
I am having trouble with the volume on the right channel. The left channel comes up immediately, but the right channel is dead. If the volume is increased to a very loud level, the right channel audio will "pop" on. In most cases, the volume can then be reduced and both channels function normally. But not always. Sometimes the right channel will die at low volume for no apparent reason. Increasing the volume restores the right channel. This is not a connection issue. I have checked both speaker connections. I have also used both micro USB and RCA mini-plugs to connect the amp to the audio source. The problem persists! I suspect a bad component in the amp, perhaps a flawed capacitor. May need to return the unit for a replacement. Otherwise, this is a fantastic amp!

quality price
For the price, size and quality this little amplifier is great. Look at Cnet review before I got it.

REALLY bad
I'm never buying a 4 star rated item again because 4 star on Amazon means not good, and when I say this amplifier is bad, I mean REALLY bad. Fresh new out of the box there is something wrong with the grounding inside the unit because there is an electrical hum that constantly plays even when no music is playing. On top of that, the optical in does not work at all period, instead of playing what my TV plays, it plays a deep static noise. It is being returned.
