Unfortunately I was unable to use it had to return. It was the wrong size. But again it looked to be of good quality!

I bought two of these. One I had an electrician install on my brand new quartz island countertop and the other I'm holding should anything happen and I need another one - nothing like having a hole in your countertop that you can't find an exact match for. Anyway, the electrician had absolutely no problem installing it and it works like a charm. It's beautiful and I've already received compliments on it - recently from one of the subcontractors who also does remodeling. He wanted to know where I got it so I sent him the link. I couldn't be happier with this product.

So this is a great quality plate. It looks amazing. I did however order a different box than recommended and had to return the first one. This is easy to install.

Latch to open gets stuck. Box needs proper spacers underneath to prevent over tightening of the screws which in turn make the latch stick and you are unable to open the plug.

DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT! The concept is a good one but when it is installed in a floor it doesn't open without a screwdriver. Poor engineering and not worth the cost.

....they're also quite difficult to open when I need to use them. I have to have a screwdriver or coin on hand to flip the flap up, which is a little annoying!These are thicker and heavier than the brass plates I am replacing, and the edges are sharp...I didn't know I'd need a bevel to cover the edges, and these do not come with a bevel. However, we made them work, and they are certainly easier to use than the existing plates that have the cover that needs to be unscrewed each time I need to plug something in.If I were to design this, i would simply push down on the hinge end of the flap so the other end pops up....easier to open.I like the fact that the flaps lock easily with 1 1/2 turn of a screw.They look nice and clean and my vacuum cleaner doesn't catch on them.

We just installed a kitchen island and made a great choice using this Enerlites box. We were concerned about the safety with an electrical outlet on the side wall of the island and grandkids putting something into an outlet or pulling on an appliance cord. The box-1) looks great, 2) is convenient, and 3) provides safety. It installed pretty easily. We hardwired the box to a GFCI outlet inside the sink base cabinet. We like it and guests have too. We also installed push button air switch for the garbage disposal which is nice.

I went to Lowes to find a box this would mount on. Nope. This three-point mount is not a standard mount.Apparently, the maker of this item is the only one to supply a compatible box.The picture indicates this may be one of the less obtrusive lower profile floor covers. Nope. If one wants to know things or feet or vacuums or anything else will glide over the outlet, one must either buy additional flange to make it happen. This is just one part of several related items a person must buy install. I'm done guessing and looking.I will just go to Lowes and buy a complete kit. And of course, return this one.
